Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM S

Pros: Build quality, sharpness, versatility, and with extenders you get an excellent 420f/4 and a good 600f/5.6, if you stop down to 7.1 or 8.0 it gets very good

Cons: Weight, you have to be very strong to handhold it all day, a monopod is required!

Opinion: I bought this lens a few weeks ago, and i have done a little testing. The bare lens is excellent, a little soft on 2.8 but nothing to worry about. I have tested the lens with Canon 2xext.III, and i think it is very promising. I also bought the USB DOCK, and it works fine, but you CANNOT microadjust with canon extenders on the lens, you will have to do it in camera, i have adjustet to -10 with the 2xext.III, and it looks good. I have a small test gallery under my profile.
