![]() | Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art II Pros: Construction, robustness, excellent quality Cons: Nobody Opinion: One word: exceptional! Fast and precise focusing in every situation, buttons and switches at will, excellent sharpness. An all-rounder that sooner or later is essential to have in your kit. I use it almost daily for any situation, both photos and videos and I always get excellent results. Of course the weight is felt but it is absolutely worth it. sent on September 18, 2025 |
![]() | Viltrox AF 27mm f/1.2 Pro Pros: All Cons: Nothing in particular Opinion: Really fantastic optics, maybe a little heavy but it's so fun to use that the weight takes a back seat. I particularly appreciated the focal length of 27mm which, in my opinion, is better than the classic 35mm in terms of angle of view. I've noticed that manual focus ring tends to be a bit stiff, I don't know if it's a defect of my lens or it's just like that. In any case, it is a pro optic at an objectively affordable price for the build quality. sent on September 18, 2025 |
![]() | Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 Macro G OSS II Pros: Versatility, sharpness, macro functionality, portability Cons: Nobody Opinion: A fantastic lens, the latest addition to the optical kit. I tested it thoroughly and was really satisfied with it. Crazy sharpness on the whole image already from F4, the very precise autofocus locks on to the subject quickly, clearly it also depends on the camera and with the a6700 it worked perfectly. The low weight makes it comfortable, I used it practically for almost two whole days and I had no problems The macro functionality, although not 1:1, is the thing I particularly appreciated. Summing up it is a flexible and fun tele that is worth every single penny of its price, I recommend it. sent on July 03, 2025 |
