![]() | Sony A6600 Pros: lightness and compactness, portability, amazing colors in videos, beautiful workable RAW, eternal battery, AF Cons: No joystick, monitor extendable only horizontally, Low ISO resistance, sensor that deactivates the monitor when we use the viewfinder Opinion: My very first camera, very light with batteries that last a lot (almost 2000-2500 shots regardless of the percentage), excellent video quality and beautiful colors once you get out of the camera (for fast videos you don't even need color correction, amazing), super editable 23/25 MB RAW and JPEG not too heavy with beautiful colors. Impeccable sony autofocus during the day, with fatigue at night. ISO that during the day can go down to 80, while already around 6400 you can notice a lot of noise, and you can hear the flaw of the APS-C sensor. After years of sports photography I really miss the Joystick, which is why I am buying one dedicated exclusively to photography, and keep this a6600 for videos and spare body. Finally, a problem that I don't know if it's related to the firmware, but the sensor that deactivates the monitor when we put the eye in the viewfinder works really badly, leaving the monitor on and clickable via touch from the cheek; a problem that led me to the almost total disuse of the viewfinder. At the end of the day a great camera body for the price of € 800/900 at which it is used, super versatile. sent on April 30, 2025 |
