![]() | Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Lightweight, precise af, great detail up to 200mm, incredible stabilizer, price Cons: Yield above 250mm Opinion: It was my first telephoto lens, it has always given me good shots, especially up to 200mm, then you have to close the aperture proportionally. In my opinion to start with it is a very good lens, it costs very little. The stabilizer works wonders, better than many other more famous ones. The color rendering is just as good and I don't find any flaws in this regard. It is not tropicalized but it withstands light rain and snowy environments well, minus dust. In view of the price I would recommend it. sent on December 13, 2023 |
![]() | Canon 7D Mark II Pros: Very solid construction, shutter speed, AF module practically the same as the pros, general ergonomics, good weight, general settings, excellent value for money, very workable raw files if shot correctly, double memory slots Cons: Problematic ISO sealing Opinion: I've had this camera body since 2016 and I have to say that I've always loved this SLR. As everyone has already said, the af module is incredibly fast and professional, the construction is excellent and gives a crazy feeling when shooting. Let's say that for sports and nature photography he almost never betrays him. The lack of wifi is not a big problem, the double slot comes in handy with a dedicated card. The monitor is not articulated, it has never created problems for me, but I understand that some people would appreciate it. The real problem is the ISO sealing, let's say that up to 3200 the files can be used if well exposed, after that absolutely not. Also in view of a change of camera body I will keep it as a forklift in case of need. Thank you 7D2 for all the photos we took together sent on December 13, 2023 |
![]() | Sigma USB Dock Pros: Ease of use, avoid service trips for firmware or personal adjustments Cons: Nobody Opinion: I bought the dock immediately after getting the Sigma 150-600 C and I didn't regret it as it allows you to very easily update the firmware of the various Sigmas, as well as being able to perform fine adjustments for which it would have been necessary to go to service. I find the price adequate also considering that the same software is constantly updated. Just traveling to the various service centers to update the firmware a few times would cost me more and I would be without a lens for a few days sent on December 13, 2023 |
