![]() | Fujifilm GFX100S II Pros: Sensor, Colors, "compactness", and much more. Cons: Very few buttons, absence of rings, not very "Fuji" aesthetics, useless LCD screen at the top, few lenses and little else Opinion: Given that I have always had Nikon and Sony full frames, since I moved to the Fuji world with their super-manageable, light, comfortable aps-c, with a wonderful style etc the only thing I missed was a nice giant sensor, and this Fuji despite not having the compactness and style of the others, gives colors, sharpness, precision, tones, blur and much more that every photo is truly to be framed. A super full-frame with the "compactness" of a full-frame reflex, something I haven't been used to for several years, but which don't weigh too much on me. I'm sorry for the lack of choice of lenses, even if in reality a 40mm, an 80mm and a 110mm are simply the ones I need, and they are nothing short of perfect. Maybe the 80 underwhelming for autofocus but the others are extraordinary, sharp, colorful, soft.... It's truly a pleasure to shoot with this camera, once it's set up. Of course because setting it is inconvenient, it has no rings except that of customizations, but otherwise it is truly divine. Super recommended especially for the price which is not so exaggerated compared to the quality it then offers. The 100megapixels, used at about f/4 can be felt ALL, zoom in as much as you want on the photo, you will never get to see the pixels practically, and it offers absurd and beautiful cuts in the room. Lots of pros, some cons, but in general I love it. sent on December 17, 2024 |
