Pros: Sensor, general characteristics.

Cons: "Weight" of the files. Risk of micro-blur. Some finishes not up to par.

Opinion: It is useless to dwell too much on the technical characteristics of a camera that has already been subjected to dozens of online tests, so I will only add some completely personal impressions. The car is impeccably built but with some incomprehensible style lapses (flaps on the left side of poor quality, with robustness and waterproofing far below expectations). Having previously used a GFX50S-II I had no surprises from the menus and possible settings: the folders are very neat and easy to read and when you are in a hurry the Q key allows you to access and change the main functions. The 101.8 MPX sensor allows for remarkable crops but it is also the only real problem I encountered: if you want to take advantage of it to have the highest quality, the files are very heavy and you need to have a modern and fast PC to manage them without having to wait 3-4 minutes just to apply a denoising filter... For this reason, I rarely use the 4:3 aspect ratio, preferring the 3:2 format which (with some minimal cropping) is more suitable for both projections and large prints. In any case, both 3:2 and 16:9 make full use of the 11,648 horizontal pixels and therefore there is no loss of detail. Compared to its younger sister, the 100S-II is more sensitive to blur due to the truly microscopic pixel size. Although the on-sensor stabilization is very effective (added to that of many GF lenses), you are therefore forced to use fast shutter speeds or a solid tripod. To improve stability (especially using bright lenses or the GF45-100 at maximum extension) I mounted a sturdy Chinese slide with the Arca profile on the caseback, avoiding the original one which, although of excellent workmanship, is without milling on the underside and therefore forces you to disassemble it every time you have to change the battery... A note on the price: in my opinion, being a highly professional camera, the price list is not exaggerated, placing itself below other models in the Fuji catalog and considerably below the flagship machines of other brands. On the other hand, I find really unseemly the behavior of the House which, without warning, promotes cash-back that are certainly convenient but that sensationally penalize those who buy even just one day before the start of the promotional campaign. And not all shopkeepers are so courteous as to promptly warn the customer to save him a few hundred euros...

Pros: all, weight , file , three-dimensionality of the photo ,

Cons: cost, but a product like this is charged, choice of optics, still not very rich in lenses.

Opinion: I state that I have taken this camera for about a month, I went from a Nikon d 850 to a Fujifilm gfx 50 s II, and now the gfx 100 s II, really the leap in quality is noticeable, the files it churns out are really rich. Rich in details, in colors, the rings and keys are not many, but all customizable, with the gfx lenses the photos can be cropped in a really deep way. In short, I fell in love with this car, it really has a deep soul that must be discovered.

Pros: Sensor, Colors, "compactness", and much more.

Cons: Very few buttons, absence of rings, not very "Fuji" aesthetics, useless LCD screen at the top, few lenses and little else

Opinion: Given that I have always had Nikon and Sony full frames, since I moved to the Fuji world with their super-manageable, light, comfortable aps-c, with a wonderful style etc the only thing I missed was a nice giant sensor, and this Fuji despite not having the compactness and style of the others, gives colors, sharpness, precision, tones, blur and much more that every photo is truly to be framed. A super full-frame with the "compactness" of a full-frame reflex, something I haven't been used to for several years, but which don't weigh too much on me. I'm sorry for the lack of choice of lenses, even if in reality a 40mm, an 80mm and a 110mm are simply the ones I need, and they are nothing short of perfect. Maybe the 80 underwhelming for autofocus but the others are extraordinary, sharp, colorful, soft.... It's truly a pleasure to shoot with this camera, once it's set up. Of course because setting it is inconvenient, it has no rings except that of customizations, but otherwise it is truly divine. Super recommended especially for the price which is not so exaggerated compared to the quality it then offers. The 100megapixels, used at about f/4 can be felt ALL, zoom in as much as you want on the photo, you will never get to see the pixels practically, and it offers absurd and beautiful cuts in the room. Lots of pros, some cons, but in general I love it.
