Pros: Stabilizer, lightness and focal range.

Cons: All

Opinion: I'm not good at going into technical details, but from the beginning when I bought my first reflex the Canon EOS 2000D with the 18-55 kit, I decided to equip myself with an all-rounder lens, the choice for economic and practical reasons was there in our beautiful for just over 230 euros, this 18-200 Tamron, I told myself that with just under 600 euros mo I am taken home, all there was to learn how to photograph... we spread a pitiful veil, I used to come from a Nikon bridge, which I very often shot automatically, and having no idea what to take, I took photos of everything that happened to me .. but that is done with a compact A, with the Bridge, not with a reflex which is a completely different thing... It was like overcoming a six-meter-high wall without having anything to do it, maybe just to get to the top. In fact, the first photos... they literally pitied, I wanted to throw everything away... Then, I said to myself that if you don't want to take a photography course, get informed and read tutorials and cards on the web, about what you have in your hands, compare yourself with other more experienced photographers and get advice... and in fact I did so, slowly acquired a bit of construction practice and the more you went on, the more you realized that for what you had chosen to take, sports photos, what you had in your hand was not suitable material, absolutely, especially the Tamron, it was not a valid lens, definitely not sharp, not reactive, in short, I didn't need it at all, the 18-55 was much more valid, even if it had its limitations. Today I still don't consider myself a photographer, I'm still someone who takes photos and tries to do it in the best possible ways, I have other kit more suitable for the purpose, but of the old kit, I must say that I still have it, the 2000D I keep it close, because even with its limitations, it is still an aps-c with 24 pixels, and in combination with the 55-250 stm it gives me good photos. The Tamron has been put aside for too long now, I should decide to give it away, maybe it can be useful for someone approaching the world of photography, it could be valid for learning, but nothing else.
