![]() | Nikon AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 D Pros: Versatile and lightweight Cons: Full-aperture vignetting Opinion: Bought used in Japan, to combine it with a disused D700, I'm having a lot of fun. I have some doubts about the performance of my sample: if at TA it is in line with the other examples, as it shows chromatic aberration, but maybe it's just my habit with the fixed ones. Advice is accepted for trials. The macro function is a plus when you are out and about, after realizing that to deactivate it you need to have focused sent on June 19, 2025 |
![]() | Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 15mm f/2.8 Pros: Almost no distortion Cons: Lens cap that comes off too easily and can scratch the front lens when you put the machine in the holster and the cap is inside Opinion: I recently bought this jewel, used but like new and said goodbye to the equivalent samyang (other planet). First modification made: add-on to the lens cap to prevent it from being removed unintentionally and damaging the front lens with its edge; Now the outer part of the cap is made of rubber. Anyone interested in the change can contact me privately. For the rest, what to say? Bright optics that at TA have a minimum of vignetting already absent at +1 stop. Unperceptible distortion and focus (despite the short scale) of a unique ease and pleasure. I still haven't dealt with how the flare holds up (so I don't express myself for the effectiveness of the lens hood, but if necessary I will make an add-on for that too). My feeling is that with such openness and without distortion you can photograph without fears to avoid unpleasant distortions. Another note that was not obvious to me before purchase: 95 mm filters can be mounted without problems sent on May 17, 2025 |
