![]() | Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sport Pros: Sharpness, lightning-fast AF, 2.8, Bokeh, stabilizer, construction, hood, customizable/upgradeable, quality/price Cons: None I couldn't find any. Opinion: I bought this lens last year and I can only talk about it well as it is often mounted on the camera body. I own a Nikon d500 and combined with this body it balances perfectly, so much so that the weight is more than bearable freehand. Solid and well made construction. As a pair of autofocus I can say that it is infallible, both at small and maximum distances it does not miss a shot, it also has a very precise and fluid manual maf. It can be used at full aperture while maintaining high sharpness, although sometimes, depending on the light, it may seem softer. I don't find it a fault because it still maintains detail. Creamy and spectacular bokeh. Efficient stabilizer you can shoot at 1/80sec freehand without shake. It is upgradeable and customizable via dock. What can I say is fantastic in every respect, although initially I took it to make us dog sport, now I find myself using it often for portraits. Can also be used for astrophotography, even at 2.8, if you have a tracker / mount. Taken new from the store after comparing it, trying, with the Sigma model prior to this and the Nikon vr2, and in the end I chose this one because I considered it superior to both in everything. My model did not need af calibration, immediately perfect at all focal lengths and apertures. If I really have to find a hair in the egg is the bracket slightly short when you bring it by hand lowered. The stra advice for those who have not yet switched to mirrorless, given the excellent quality / price ratio, is a lens to have in your SLR kit. Vote 10 sent on May 14, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon D500 Pros: AF (all that is this compartment), Robustness and Ergonomics, White Balance, ISO Sealing, Image Quality, How the Menu is set Cons: I found no flaws. If we really want the hair in the egg, touch screen I would have preferred it also in the menu. Opinion: I bought this car a year and a half ago and for now I can only speak well of it because of the many satisfactions it gives me. Initially I took it to take sports photos of dogs, of which we know all the strengths, which I will not list, on this field. This camera in my opinion does not excel only in the sports / wildlife field, also used for other photographic genres pulls out beautiful files, with a high image quality, colors and a white balance more than excellent, an iso seal that up to 2000 is non-existent and usable safely up to 6400, over 6400 I never went because I have never needed it yet. As a threshold, however, you do everything just match the right quality optics. For now I have used it combining it with the Nikon 16-80 2.8-4 and the Sigma Sport 70-200 2.8 and it is exceptional with both lenses, later I already have in mind what other lenses to match for the photographic genres that interest me. This jewel of a machine I think I intend to keep it for many more years and use it in various fields, given the reliability that transmits to you just holding it, up to the general quality and files. Does it make sense to take it today? In my opinion yes because if you know the qualities and potential of this wonder, you do everything and you are fully satisfied, you also have access to a very large optical park. sent on May 13, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon Coolpix B700 Pros: Raw format, 60x optical zoom, 1cm Maf, 4k video, 1/4000s, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, Reclining/swivel screen, Stabilizer Cons: Temp. Ottur. only 15sec, Burst 5fps, Max aperture 3.3, Iso max up to 400-600 over too much noise, useless side button for zoom (but settable for maf, certainly more useful), too many scenes often misleading from the description and therefore useless Opinion: Let's start from the positive sides, a great compact that over the years has given me great satisfaction and that for those who start approaching the world of photography can be a good starting product as the camera is no longer in production. The machine is lightweight, has an excellent resistance even to extreme environments having brought it everywhere, sea, mountains and even in the heart of the Serengeti (Tanzania). Excellent fact that I could use the raw format, good 4k videos (but sometimes based on what I had to do I preferred to shoot them in 1080p at 60fps). Good time from 1/4000sec despite being limited in focal length and iso, although at higher focal lengths still allows fast times always based on the iso that is set (if set manually). Good possibility to do focus peaking and manual focus if you want to take special shots. Built-in flash good, not to shoot it too much and not burn just compensate it at -1.7 (tried more settings and this in my opinion, for different uses is ok) and pulls out good results in studio photos. Convenient articulated display to make special shots, buttons quite comfortable and customizable fn1, fn2, as the position of the two rings for times and apertures useful to have full control. I would say an excellent Maf starting from only 1cm away for similar macro / closeup. Good possibility to mount filters, I used 52mm (the nd1000) and others I bought them from 62mm with adapter ring that rarely caused me vignetting, but there is being adapted. 60x optical zoom I would say more than great for photography and video shooting, the rare times I pushed I never went beyond 80x because after grainy too much digital zoom. Extraordinary stabilizer I managed to shoot handheld often up to 1 sec without problems, and once even to 2.5 seconds. Often used with upper card cut from booklet (128GB) and I have never had problems with videos or photos and the battery life is around 450 shots both with original batteries and with compatible. Good connectivity with snapbridge via smartphone to take photos or to shoot remotely. The negative notes a little less than the positive ones but aimhe some really hateful. Let's start from the impossibility of the bulb mode (which in my opinion could add it), and that over 15 seconds you can not go, ok it is a compact, but there are compacts that have 30sec or bulb mode so I did not understand the choice. Burst from only 5fps that sometimes unfortunately can make you miss interesting moments that you wanted to immortalize. Aperture 3.3 not really a problem but at this point even here I did not understand, as for the bulb mode, why the choice of this aperture when they could start from 2.8. Iso usable up to 400-600 acceptable noise that produces and easily solved, over better not to go up so as not to lose image quality. Side button really useless even if then I found it "a utility" setting it as manual Maf. The scenes some good, others really bad and unusable that I do not see a use to do, as for the overview that often does not go, and when it goes is sensitive in moving even too much. If you are looking for a machine that now costs nothing in the used, and has good general performance for various photographic genres, this machine has excellent potential both for those who start, and for those who want little weight and versatility without sacrificing a good general quality. Soon I will publish various galleries with the various genres made with this compact. sent on May 08, 2023 |
