I found it slightly brighter than the 20 sony, with the same parameters, maybe almost a +0.3. Absurdly I noticed being more performing and sharp at full opening rather than completely closed. I made some great night shots at the Milky Way, I will post them when I also learn to edit them decently. The deformation is almost nothing, a great job all in all this lens that has almost nothing to envy to the G series, especially the price
