Fujifilm X-T30 III Pros: Wonderful colors, improved autofocus even in AF-C, compactness Cons: The shutter button has a strange travel, slow in displaying photos after shooting. Opinion: I bought it as soon as it came out together with the beautiful 23mm f2.8 pancake and I was surprised by the speed and precision of the tracking. It is a clear step forward; I imagine that with optics equipped with LM engines the performance can be even faster. The rendering of the files is excellent. The ISO hold is good up to 6400: exposing correctly, the grain that emerges is fine and not at all intrusive, maintaining that "analogue" character typical of the brand. Despite the enthusiasm, I found two points that left me perplexed compared to previous models: The shutter button: the travel seems almost "triple". It is less immediate and less reactive than in the past, requiring a bit of getting used to. Post-shot latency: I noticed a certain slowness in the display of photos immediately after shooting, a strange detail for such a modern camera. sent on 02 Marzo 2026 |

Sony A7 III Pros: Excellent AFC autofocus, battery life, excellent ISO capability, dual slots Cons: Somewhat awkward grip with heavy optics Opinion: I use this camera exclusively for wedding photography and I am fully satisfied with it. I only use the autofocus in AF-C and it's more than enough for my workflow and the high ISO hold continues to surprise me: in certain situations I shoot at ISO 12,800 without any problems. The autonomy is exceptional: I often cover an entire event with only two batteries, returning home with the second still halfway through. The gust is also great for ceremonies. The only trick concerns the electronic shutter: Rolling Shutter and Banding are real risks, but with a little attention they are managed well. The menu is complex and unfortunately the Italian translation is not very precise, which does not make it intuitive. However, thanks to the custom page and numerous programmable physical keys, I rarely find myself having to navigate through the settings. At the current price of around € 1,200, at least for strictly photographic use, I think it is one of the cameras with the best value for money on the market. sent on 03 Febbraio 2026 |
