![]() | Lowepro Pro Trekker BP 550 AW II Pros: Large capacity, removable lumbar belt, removable upper bag. Cons: Price, weight (3.65 kg) Opinion: The real footprint (without the upper bag that can be released by means of four quick-release hooks) is 35x24x50 therefore, compatible with the limits of hand luggage. The top bag can be stored in a suitcase or kept over the shoulder like a pocket. Internally, I can fit the Canon 600/4/II on the right while, on the left I have plenty of space for the 100/500 with R6II and above for a second body +1.4 + batteries, etc. Little space in the side pockets however equipped with camelback. It is also equipped with a rain bag, tripod hooks and a pocket for a laptop tablet 15. It is comfortable on the shoulders when fully loaded (11 kg!) and the lumbar belt unloads the weight well on the hips. Rating 9.5 sent on November 10, 2025 |
![]() | Benro GH2 Pros: Robustness, price Cons: A certain difficulty and insecurity in inserting the slide with the lens into the housing Opinion: I bought used GH2 at a great price about a year ago. I mount it on an ultra-old Manfrotto 190 very early series and use it to do birdlife with Canon 600 f/4 + 1D and, sometimes, with 1.4x. Everything is very stable despite the almost 5.5 kg of weight. I just find it a bit difficult and insecure to fit the rail and lens into the housing. I would also like the screw fixing the rail on the lens to be a little longer, giving more security to the complex. Excellent fluidity and friction, grade 9. sent on December 09, 2023 |
