canon_eos_m50_iiCanon EOS M50 Mark II

Pros: Easy handling, lightness, ease of use, adjustable screen

Cons: Few rings

Opinion: After almost twenty years with a canon 400d and a tamron 17-50 2.8, I decided to switch to mirrorless. Not that I wasn't satisfied with my equipment. But having developed a passion for street photography over time, I wanted something lighter and more discreet. I chose M50 mark II first of all for an indispensable offer. Then because I liked it. Small, comfortable and versatile with its 22 f2. I shoot 99% in black and white and I must say that the files already satisfy me as they are. Just a cutout and a little contrast, when it is necessary and nothing else is needed. The video side doesn't interest me and I've never used it for that. The kit lens, the 15-45, is not bad and is comfortable in some situations. But I rarely use it. I also took the adapter to take advantage of my old tamron, which behaves very well. In fact, it is what is useful to use the ef lenses, given the small choice of the m series. The focus is perfect and immediately hooks the moving subjects. However, I only use the central point of maf and then recompose. I'm not a great technician so I can't help you on the nerdiest issues. In conclusion, I believe that it is a machine with an excellent quality / price ratio and, given its ease of use, excellent for those who do not have great pretensions to esoteric feautures. If only it had at least one more ring... Waiting to be able to afford a leica.
