sony_fe24-105_f4ossSony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS

Pros: Versatility! Excellent yield and also a nice bokeh if pushed to 105mm

Cons: Frankly for the price I can not find any

Opinion: I took this lens in kit with the A7iii, thinking to become familiar with my first sony and then change it with something more performing... Well I've already changed the A7iii, but I'm not going to part with this goal. It has a yield and an optical quality of all respect! Now I use it with A7iv and A9 and I am very satisfied! Surely there are more performing optics, but if you need an all-rounder, which you never disassemble during a service (something not to be underestimated for machines with exposed sensor) and that always gives you excellent results in all light conditions, well he is for you. Not too heavy, not too bulky. Taken in kit has an even better value for money ... (I took it with cashback on the whole package with the A7III)

sony_a7iiiSony A7 III

Pros: Backlit sensor that returns a wonderful file.

Cons: Ergonomics. Menu. Focus

Opinion: Ergonomics truly sacrificed to seek compactness and lightness. Very slow focus when compared to Canon and not only to the 5DMK IV also compared to more obsolete models! The Menu a real puzzle, the advantage is that once you understand how to customize the machine, you almost no longer use it! Overall a good machine, as far as photographic use is concerned, is really difficult to think of a 9.5 as a vote ... Ok the value for money is correct but not stratospheric! Mirrorless undoubtedly has huge advantages over Reflex, but not with a model like this.

sony_fe24_f2-8gSony FE 24mm f/2.8 G

Pros: Compact, lightweight and well built.

Cons: Distortion quite high that must be corrected in post (or in the car but always via software) price a bit 'high for the type of optics.

Opinion: I have been for years a very happy owner of Canon's 24mm F2.8 IS USM, an optic with which I shot a lot. I was looking for a worthy replacement in the Sony world, for now I haven't done many things yet, I'm using it a bit for fun for now, but I'm starting to get familiar with it. The feeling is still to have a hand a toy for its size (but this is a feeling that also gives the having passed from reflex to mirrorless), a toy that however copes well a little in all light situations, has a good bokeh and a pleasant management of the flare against the light. As said the distortion is imported and must be corrected via software I have not detected aberration problems for now. Overall a good product in my opinion the right price should be around 400 €
