![]() | Canon EOS R7 Pros: ergonomics, weight, burst, raw quality, autofocus, 2 slots, battery life, viewfinder visibility, you can use LP-6n batteries. Compatible with R6,R5, 5D, 7D,... etc... Cons: plasticky, readout sensor Opinion: After 2 years of using 100000 shots I can comment on it, I often use it for nature photography combined with the old EF100-400 (pompone) and I must say that I am particularly comfortable. I had the 7D and the 7DmkII and, after a week of shooting, I sold them to add RF lenses to both it and the R6 mkii... Compared to my former two 7Ds, the improvement was remarkable both for resistance to high iso and in focusing speed (in addition to tracking the subject). One of the few, if not the only, mirrorless quality APSC, which I really appreciate because the subjects are always far away. The AF locks on to the subject's eye and never lets it go, 90% of shots in focus. Fast, sensitive shutter button, bright viewfinder, clear and full of info. It is small, but it fits everywhere and weighs very little. Excellent in combination with the RF 100mm macro and also with the RF 16mm (which becomes pocket-sized...) sent on January 12, 2026 |
![]() | Canon EOS R6 Mark II Pros: AF + Tracking + automatic recognition of subjects, excellent ergonomics, excellent instant communication via WI-FI / BT with the possibility of managing the shot and shots directly to the smartphone in real time Cons: So far I have not found any critical issues except the battery life a little' poor (fortunately having had 7D and 7D MK II I abundant supply of LP_E6NH..), also if I customize the name with which to save the photos does not take me the first character replacing it with the underscore... Opinion: I bought the Canon R6-mark II earlier this week and immediately fell in love. Yesterday, after 5 days of use, I sold almost all the SLR kit( 7D,7D MK II, 100mm macro series L, 24-105 series l, 50 f1.8, EF-S 10-22 ...) and I also bought the R7 together with the RF 16mm, RF 50 mm and the RF 24-105 ... keeping the old pompone. I would say that I'm finding myself very well with this in these two days of shots: Obviously the R6MK2 I find it much superior with regard to the purity of the file (also seen the lower number of pixels and the FF sensor ..) ![]() | Patona Premium LP-E6 Pros: price and cost Cons: the original canon charger does not charge them correctly "at first" shot Opinion: they last like the original ones (about 7dmkii about 1000 shots ...) but the original 7DMKII battery charger is "IMPALLA" and you have to take it off and put it several times to load it to 100% .nnever seen the very low cost (about 24 € from photocolor that from 2000mA) it's worth having them as spare battery. I'm still trying to use the Patona battery charger to see if it's charging better ... sent on November 18, 2017 |
