![]() | 7artisans 7.5mm f/2.8 Fisheye II Pros: Economical, small, metal frame, exceptional angle of view Cons: Aperture ring without click, poor quality control Opinion: It's a good cheap fisheye, good sharpness at TA improves when closed. It has a very wide angle of view, which is particularly useful for 360-degree panning. Unfortunately, the non-removable lens hood prevents you from using it on Full Frame. The aperture ring without click is a bit of a hassle because it risks being moved inadvertently. My copy is badly off-center with the right side less sharp than the left, unfortunately I realized it only after some time. However, using it for pans, the right side ends up on the sky so it is irrelevant. sent on February 07, 2025 |
![]() | TTArtisan APS-C 7.5mm f/2 Fisheye Pros: Economical, well-finished, metal frame, can be used on full frame Cons: TA sharpness, F11 minimum aperture, poor quality control Opinion: It's a good cheap fisheye, although it's for aps-c you can also use it on Full Frame, you get an almost circular image perfect for 360 degree panoramas. With only 4 shots you complete the overview. The sharpness at TA is poor, it improves a lot when closed but even at F11 it remains inferior to other cheap fisheyes such as the Samyang 8mm for reflex or the 7Artisans 7.5mm F2.8 Even if from the specifications all these fisheyes cover the 180 on the aps-c diagonal in reality this one has a lower angle of view than the 7Artisans 7.5mm F2.8 but the latter cannot be used on FF due to the vignetting of the built-in lens hood. While the possibility of mounting rear filters remains, the lens purchased in 2024 did not have the ND 1000 filter supplied For use on aps-c I recommend taking the 7Artisans, it has a wider angle of view and is sharper. For use on FF this is better. I had to calibrate the focus ring because it didn't reach infinity. sent on February 07, 2025 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: Compact, lightweight, optically sound, no halo in infrared photos Cons: Price from new, lack of maf ring, brightness, flare against the light Opinion: I bought it for infrared photos with an Olympus E-M10, it is a good lens very compact and lightweight. Optically good, very sharp in the center, a little less on the edges, backlight without hood has a very evident flare, perlomento in infrared photos, however it is suitable for the purpose by being a little careful. sent on December 01, 2022 |
