![]() | Fujifilm X100VI Pros: Build quality, advanced features, film simulator, near-perfect AF, great colorimetry. IBIS very useful Cons: Price, inadequate target, modest definition for its category Opinion: I've always loved Fuji for the overall quality, quality optics, image plasticity, solidity, etc. When the X100VI was introduced I was immediately excited, I had the XE2, then the XE3 and I was thrilled. I own a couple of Sony FFs, but they are bulky and I only use them in certain situations. I bought it online and it arrived in 24 hours, I read about people who have been waiting for months as if it were a cult object... I've taken about a hundred photos in various situations, and given that I prefer to use wide apertures, I really appreciated the built-in ND filter. Looking back at the images, however, I confess that I was very disappointed, the definition is poor compared to expectations, probably the lens is not adequate for the new 40megapixel sensor. I am strongly tempted to resell it, unfortunately on the market I can't find alternatives in that type, there are rumors of a Lumix compact FF, but I think it will take some time... sent on May 07, 2024 |
