![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M1 III Pros: stabilization, in-camera functionality, autofocus, ergonomics (with BG), good battery life, operating speed, lens park, discrete video functions, indestructible, 80Mpx photo Cons: 4K only up to 30fps , digital stabilization Opinion: an excellent all-rounder machine, combined with a PRO lens gives excellent results. I use it for everything, even video (only in C4K because the other modes are quite castrated) excellent internal microphones. I recommend the use of the battery grip, once put you will not want to remove it anymore. Beautiful functions in the room as the focus staking, I took some pictures of the mushrooms and are wonderful. Having a blackmagic 4k I find myself very good to share the lenses and the optical park is very vast. the only flaw is the digital stabilization, I do not recommend using it because it crops the image and disappoints enough, better to use ONLY the stabilization of the sensor that goes great. sent on October 31, 2022 |
![]() | Canon XC10 Pros: amazing all-rounder, great video quality, lens quality, excellent optical stabilization, simple menus, built-in ND filter, SD + CFast slot, swivel screen, swivel handle, bell, light audio input and output, good battery life, fan presence for cooling. Cons: It does not shoot in RAW, only a bezel available for manual adjustments, it suffers from the little light but it is natural given the 1-inch sensor, autofocus a little slow. Opinion: For a month I have been a happy owner of this hybrid machine, it is the fusion of a mirrorless + a camcorder + a camera , it is something unique in its kind . I bought it mainly to use it as a secondary camera next to the XT4 and it surprised me positively. is a product aimed at those who primarily make videos and maybe take some photos. The quality of the videos is excellent, sharp and detailed even using the "only" fullHD, there is the canon Log for those who want to color in post. The battery (I'm using a 2000mAh patona) is more than fine and lasts 2-3 hours. When it came out in 2015 they criticized it because it did not have a constant aperture on the lens (which would have meant a much greater weight and ingmobro) and because it is not a camera or a camera ... The truth is that they have understood very little , this is a hybrid solution that aims to be a support for the videomaker and not his main camera . I recommend it to all those who need a good B cam in run and gun style, takes up little space, does not need accessories and in a few seconds is ready for action. sent on October 07, 2021 |
![]() | Canon PowerShot S100 Pros: Small, compact, light, great stabilized light lens, practical and fast menu, integrated ND filter! Cons: battery life, but on the other hand it is a compact. better to bring a spare battery. Opinion: Received as a gift in 2019 and set aside as it is undervalued. Rediscovered in 2021 during a time when I was without cameras and it was a big surprise. Tested on a trip to Venice and later to make macros to various flowers around the garden, phenomenal. To be a compact from 2011, 10 years later it still behaves excellently, full of functions (including the built-in ND filter!) you can use it as a small jolly handyman. For me it deserves a vote of 10 sent on June 06, 2021 |
