![]() | Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN C Pros: Construction quality, compactness, constant f/2.8, smooth manual fire ring, AF-MF button Cons: Lampshed difficult to insert and remove, autofocus good but not at sony lens level as it suffers with little light Opinion: The choice to buy a Sony Alpha 7C is naturally aimed at those who want a compact Full Frame. As a result, an attempt is being made to identify good objectives with a pushed but at the same time compact iris opening. It is still almost impossible to satisfy this research but the Sigma 28-70mm with constant f/2.8 goes very close and helps to make my A7c still a beautiful small Full Frame. The Contemporary series is not the Art series so I expect a slightly lower yield but of course it is the price to pay to have a lens that is in the palm of a closed hand. Very very satisfied. sent on March 30, 2021 |
