Pros: Weight, build quality, image quality, overall size, good focal length range

Cons: Lack of stabilization, dubious tropicalization, absence of the aperture ring

Opinion: Excellent zoom almost everything does given the focal ranges, very close in optical quality to 24-70 or 28-105 without being as huge. I think that for a small camera like my Lumix S9 (or the original Sigma fp/fp-l/bf) it is the best before it becomes frankly uncomfortable to shoot with it (and we are already close to the limit). The quality is excellent at all focal lengths and at all apertures, if taken in L-mount there are no distortion problems. It extends but not too much, in case of travel excellent as the only lens to carry with you. Expensive but in the second-hand market you are starting to find it at reasonable prices (

Pros: File quality, focal range, weight, size.

Cons: Still high cost, absence of the aperture ring, absence of stabilization, in my case big front focus problems.

Opinion: Handy lens, low barrel extension, good construction and low weight. As for the 16-28mm it lacks the aperture ring, very convenient if you work with Sigma FP. Unfortunately the cost is still very high but being practically the only lens with this focal range (excluding the art 24-70 version, L-Mount version) there is little to do... Bought for work needs at the expense of the 65mm f2 that I sold (reluctantly). The file is good, not at the level of the fixed. Rated 8. - - - - - Correction: After using it at a conference, I wrote the review that you can read above. Then used for an important job (sure of the previous performance) I found myself with blurred photographs in broad daylight, with times so high as to make blurry or even blurry impossible... It would seem to be back and front focus... Now I regret the 65mm. Rated 4

Pros: Compact, bright, fast AF, creamy bokeh, sharpness.

Cons: Only partially tropicalized, ghosting at 2.8 at the minimum distance of maf.

Opinion: Fantastic lens, I use it on panasonic S5, on which it works exactly as a native lens, so fully functional AF as well as all the corrections in the camera, even firmware updates are done as for lumix lenses. At 2.8 on all focal lengths it is already very sharp in the center and good at the edges. Closing at 4 or 5.6 it becomes perfect from edge to edge, perhaps only at 70mm at the extreme edges it is less sharp, but just to want to be picky. It has a creamy blur that I like very, very different in this from panasonic zooms (especially the 24-105) Different speech when you are close to the minimum distance of maf: the images are soft enough to seem out of focus, which had happened to me only on the fuji x100f. Closing at 4 improves, at 5.6 it resolves definitively ... All in all when you are so close to the subject, a bit of PDC is not even bad. It has a rubber gasket around the bayonet, but the rest of the body is not tropicalized, however, when it rains I always keep the car inside the good old plastic "waterproof" with an elastic band around the hood, so as not to have problems. Ultimately an extremely valid and versatile lens, I use it especially indoors or with little light, where combined with the portentous iso seal of the S5, I definitively solved every problem of photos with difficult light and combined with the new noise reduction software through AI, does not make me feel the lack of fixed lights.

Pros: Compact, sharp, excellent optical and build quality, constant f/2.8

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I use it on A7C with pleasure.. Convenient and comfortable to carry around. No problem even after a full day of use. The materials used are of high quality.. a pleasure to use. Easy-to-grip rubberized zoom bezel. Remember to hold the hood ONLY at the short petals .. It works great! Combined with the A7C I have excellent sharpness, well-controlled chromatic aberrations, super fast and accurate autofocus. For my use (travel/portraits with shallow depth of field, use in low light conditions) I am very happy and satisfied!

Pros: 2.8 , color rendering , focusing distance

Cons: the lens drops drastically to 70mm

Opinion: Lens with beautiful colors, between 35 and 60 gives the best of itself, drops conspicuously to 70mm in which much of the detail is lost making everything a little too messy, despite this in my opinion it turns out to be a lens of absolute quality .... Compared to its competitors it is lighter and smaller, something to consider for its purchase
