Furthermore, from the point of view of weight and size, this lens weighs 600gr (about 200 gr less than the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art) and is more compact, and this allows you to always carry it in your backpack. I was then satisfied with the color rendering, even if sometimes, in certain conditions, the whites are very strong and it is difficult to recover them in post production; but I got around this by using HDR mode or exposure bracketing. So, if you don't want to break the bank to buy the big brother and if you don't need to shoot at f2.8, this lens is definitely for you. Nikon Z 40mm f/2
