Canon EOS R7 Pros: Focus, speed, lightness Cons: I don't know... Opinion: After the first month of countless disappointing shots, especially in focus and image noise, I stopped for a moment and started to study it better, also thanks to several tutorials on YouTube. Result: deadly! I come from 7D and 90D reflex cameras (and before that the 30D) and the leap in quality is incredible. In combination with the RF 100-500mm Canon it is a spectacle, it keeps the focus on the eye great (obviously the comparison is with the 90D, while with the R6MKII I still have no feedback of shooting "on the fly" (I'll try soon...). The noise is in fact excessive in particular situations (e.g. low light). The size of the camera body does not bother me at all, on the contrary! In a short time I also adapted to the position of the keys. Very satisfied! I gave the grade of 9, only because I reserve the 10 while waiting for the MKII, hoping for a further leap in overall quality. sent on 18 Febbraio 2026 |

Canon EF 300mm f/4.0 L IS USM Pros: Sharpness, lens hood, great for close-up and macro, manageability, IS, superb clarity even with the 1, 4X II, price. Cons: Lack tropicalization. Opinion: I own this lens for several years and I am very satisfied, the quality, sturdiness and ease of handling (I use it mostly by hand, even with the 1.4 multiplier X). The focus may slow down slightly with the 1.4 X, but it is quite good. Even if you have the opportunity to purchase other optics brighter or more "long", I would keep it in my kit. I tried to use it in the shop with the 2X III series, but unfortunately it does not work the AF. RnCon extension tubes can give excellent results in the macro, but it is not very comfortable. sent on 01 Aprile 2013 |
