![]() | Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Pros: Weight, sharpness Cons: nobody Opinion: Spectacular lens, with Sony A1 and A9ii really from the best of itself. The sharpness and speed of focus are really impressive, it all depends on the seven-year-olds inserted in the room, if they are correct for what you have to do, the only possible mistake will be human. even with 2X converter the qualities of the images are really remarkable. I mentioned the weight, you may wonder why and maybe you will give me crazy, but the lens allows you to be used without monopod even for a whole football match without affecting the quality of the images. sent on January 01, 2022 |
![]() | Sony A1 Pros: shutter speed, handling, very intuitive menu, AF, compactness and the possibility of customizable settings Cons: the only drawback is perhaps Sony's desire not to provide it with the classic CFexpress Opinion: I deal with sports photography and I was lucky enough to try it at the Ice Hockey World Cup in Riga. I was already coming from Sony so everything was very easy and fast, in fact it soon became the main body despite being of the assistance service. The shooting graphics, the quality of the images are not to be questioned. The 50mpx photos, although too much for my field of application, are noticeable in a positive way. The Sony AF I already knew but here they have still improved, perhaps the only real competitor right now you could find it in the R3 (also tested this). The files work very well and allow an easy post-production and a great possibility, there the only thing that is missing is personal experience. Many could criticize it for the absence of integrated batterygrip like the competitors, but for me it is an advantage as it makes the machine particularly compact and comfortable to carry. Compared to the A9ii however the images are not so "sharp", but with 50mpx a little 'is normal. Even at relatively high Iso (indoor sports) the seal is higher than before. Also tested in APS-C, but personally I prefer to shoot and FF and then adjust in PP. It costs a bit but surely it is a must for those who love Sony and work in sports sent on January 01, 2022 |
