panasonic_g9Panasonic G9

Pros: Professional performance in every sector, image quality at the top.

Cons: Maybe the size and weight, but you know when you choose it.

Opinion: It is a large device, pro in all senses, including tropicalization, expresses excellent image quality, with a well-modulated contrast. Very (sometimes too) sensitive shutter button, deadly autofocus, large and very sharp viewfinder, touch screen, adjustable and well defined. It grips well and handles perfectly. As I said it is a bit big and heavy, but they are known data at the time of purchase. Otherwise nothing to report.

panasonic_7-14Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4 ASPH

Pros: All (or almost) wide-angle focal points in one perspective

Cons: In my opinion none

Opinion: This lens has also been part of my kit for years. the best of himself, in my opinion, he dated it on Panasonic bodies because the correction of aberrations (not a few) is automatic, while on Oly not. That said, from 14mm to 28mm equivalent, to fixed f/4 the yield is superb, at the top from f/5.6, it is compact and lightweight, like many micro 4/3 system optics. It cannot mount filters, it is not stabilized, it is not tropicalized, but these details are known and therefore, if you buy it, you know what you are going through.

panasonic_35-100Panasonic Lumix G X 35-100mm f/2.8

Pros: Very high quality, both optical and mechanical

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I have been using this objective for several years with great satisfaction. As others have said, I consider it the true essence of micro 4/3. It has a spectacular yield in 10 cm in length and about 350 grams, at all diaphragms, the autofocus is very fast and the stabilizer extremely effective, the blurry is pleasant, almost on par with the equivalent fixed focals. And Sorry it's not much.

panasonic_12-35_f2-8Panasonic Lumix G X 12-35mm f/2.8

Pros: Pretty much everything

Cons: I'd say nothing.

Opinion: I have been possessing this lens for several years, in my opinion it embodies, like the 35-100 f/2.8, the very essence of the spirit of the Micro 4/3: very small size and weight (compare it to a 24/70 f/2.8 for full frame....), quality (sharpness, brilliance, beauty of the blurred)and construction at the top. The aberrations, which are there, are corrected very well by the Panasonic bodies, Olympus does not, they must be corrected after the event. I didn't try series 2, but I don't think that changes much. In conclusion, a real handyman.

panasonic_leica100-400oisPanasonic Leica 100-400mm f/4.0-6.3 ASPH OIS

Pros: High sharpness up to about 300mm, build quality and compactness in relation to the focal range.

Cons: The size, not in absolute but in relation to the size of the m4/3 cameras! But you know when you buy it....

Opinion: Although not making great use of focals so long I wanted to complete my kit with a quality super canvas and I have to say that this lens does not disappoint, indeed! Even at 400mm the yield is very good, for the top, in my opinion it is better to stop at 300mm though. Very pleasant blurry, which is not taken for granted in such an extreme zoom. The build quality is excellent and the weight, despite being felt, is contained, especially in relation to the covered focal points. I use it on a G9 and it's very manageable. Very efficient stabilizer.
