![]() | Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM Pros: Sharpness Cons: Lightweight, not flawless focus, little three-dimensionality Opinion: First impression after an hour of shooting indoors in good lighting conditions (ambient light). The appearance and weight are not those of an L series, it would almost seem like a plastic. Some uncertainty about focus, nothing tragic. The lack of the stabilizer was declared, even if at that price they could also insert it. I reserve new tests, this is meant to be a first "first impression", but at a quick glance of the shots, comparing the same facts with the 50 1.2 RF, the first thing I noticed is a poor three-dimensionality. On the spot I would recommend the 50 all my life, but I repeat, it is a very first impression. I reserve the right to update the review... sent on August 25, 2024 |
![]() | Fujifilm X100T Pros: Size, weight, picture-taking, sharpness, quality of the sensor, optic, electronic viewfinder, design. Cons: Perhaps the fixed lens ... but maybe ... I think it's a Pro. The battery is improved but still last little bit, even with the electronic viewfinder ... to insert a protective filter on the optics must mount a screw adapter It prevents mounting the original case. Opinion: A car without compromise, throws out the sensational shots effortlessly; is not very light, we say it is not really a pocket device, but it is infinitely more lightweight and portable of an SLR. Line really stylish vintage (particularly the Silver version) although aesthetically delicate (very suffers scratches). slightly cumbersome menu but IMHO more linear analogues sony (at least for my experiences). The price does not exactly popular is repaid by the overall quality of the device. sent on February 25, 2016 |
![]() | Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Pros: Light and economical. Perfect for street photography Cons: Relatively dark to be a 2.8. High-contrast colors. Opinion: Definitely value for money perspective from winning. About 200 € (or even less) do not find anything similar on the market. Very light despite the excellent workmanship, great for long walks in the city, especially when it is best not to attract attention. The autofocus while acceptable is not a thunderbolt of war, making it a perspective not properly indicated for reportage or photojournalism (at least in situations "hot" when you have to play on the "clicks-and-run"). During the road test the optics seemed very dark, and I was not fully convinced the contrast. The sharpness I was relatively disappointed, while coming in at more than acceptable levels, from a perspective made up of only 3 lenses, I would expect to meglio.rnNel Overall a convenient lens for those who do not want to risk the finest lenses in particular contexts. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything else, and frankly I'm not sure to keep it. sent on December 18, 2012 |
![]() | Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM Pros: Light, bright and sharp. Must have a value-priced, is to enter the world of macros, which for portraits. Cons: None Opinion: The autofocus works pretty well and is very quiet, even though the macro is not exactly his world (I speak AF). It does not have some sort of aberration nor vignetting. The bokeh quite soft also makes it perfect for portraits, as opposed all'85mm f1.2 (with debts distinctions, of course). I used it mainly for portraits and I was fine, the weight is absolutely not excessive and is very balanced. When I broke my hand, thanks to this little gem, I could take even maimed by ... rnHo got to try the 65mm MP, and I have to say that, apart from a slightly higher sharpness, I think the most versatile 100mm. sent on December 11, 2012 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Brilliant clarity. Lightweight. Excellent price / quality. Cons: Stabilizer noisy. It is not very bright, but for that price, what do you want? The lens hood original, as always, is not granché.rn Opinion: A superlative optics, a real blade, characterized by clarity at the highest level that can compete with the 70-200 f2.8 mark II (which weighs and costs more than twice). The gyroscope is very noisy (even at the beginning I was afraid that he was dead), making it a lens not optimal for the "Bird Watching". It is not particularly bright, but at that price what can you expect? sent on December 11, 2012 |
