![]() | Nikon AF 70-210mm f/4 Pros: All. Especially design, overall solidity and unique color rendition. Cons: Nothing. Opinion: Terrible power. Universal soldier. I tell you that these are the 'Top Three' from Nikon AF`s, equivalent and complementary: 50 f/1.8 MKI (1986-1990); 35-70 f/3.3-4.5 MKI (1986-1989) and 70-210 f/4 (1986-1987, 8 months only). As if from one series. Paradoxically low price and low popularity for the TOP. Really Out-of-Time!! Having all this, you can feel absolute satisfaction. ;] And no more need anything. sent on December 02, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon D1x Pros: All. Cons: Didn't find. Opinion: My first and single reflex camera. I was able to buy it from the hands for small money. And I still consider, if it is necessary, then I would buy the second same, at least for the sake of respect. I don 't understand what it happened, how they managed to do this... Anyway, it is a Great, Legendary device! Colors and air - you 'll find everything in your shots! Ocean - you can 't feel there's you can 't do something. In fact, Nikon was able to combine film image quality with the digital in this one perfectly. + Metal solid body with excellent ergonomics, immortal titanium shutter, faultlessness in every detail and nothing superfluous. Nice to see and use ///. So... If you don't like too long talks about the bows Barbie dolls, - if you are the real Photographer, then surely it's your choice!! P. S. To me, even this camera is the TOP of all, but I have sworn to keep my thoughts in deep secret. ) ALL others D series (including 5; except perhaps only d4/d4s, but NOT as a substitute), to my eyes, despite on it's advantage in megapixels, finally gives a more 'digital', more ordinary images then D1x. Paradoxically. Vote 10. sent on October 07, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5 Pros: Image quality (incredible warm and right colors). Fastest and precise AF. Compactness. Universality. Price!! Cons: Sometimes, perhaps, sharpness... But it's ambiguous. In practice, there are many factors that affect. Remember, it is old and it does not have an image stabilization. It can give a very good sharpness in many situations. Just look at shots, presented here, to see the differences, indeed. Opinion: Absolutely strong! Totally one of the best from Nikon, at least by price/quality. 'Gray horse' that still wins after all'. There is some stable confusion about it: many voices talk about the 'worst Nikon's lens', 'bad reputation', etc. You should understand the differences between versions of AF 35-70, 3.3-4.5 (their about five - mkI, mkll, mkIII ... ). First (1986-1989, all made in Japan, narrow focus ring) is the best version, and is a 'sky and earth', relatively to all subsequent, on many characteristics. sent on October 05, 2019 |
