![]() | Canon 5D Mark III Pros: Solid construction, made to last. Cons: The years pass for everyone, you can not expect miracles of technology on a body of 2012. The only real flaw is that it lacks wifi. Opinion: A camera body made to last over time and capable of producing quality files that are still absolutely competitive on today's market despite the fact that we are talking about an old Canon glory. To find a flaw, it can be said that sometimes, depending on the optics that mount, there are few points of focus. To date, I use it as the main machine, suitable for most shooting situations. Of course, in sports or birdlife you can not expect miracles from an effective but dated af. sent on June 14, 2022 |
![]() | Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C Pros: Value for money, construction, weight. Cons: very soft at longer focal lengths, short tripod bracket, af not always precise, light hood. Opinion: It is a lens that does its duty, but for the price it has it certainly does not work miracles. After 300mm, at f6.3, it is very very soft and struggles to produce quality images, which often forces a use at more closed apertures, at least from f8 upwards. At 600mm the drop in overall image quality is considerable. Used for avi-fauna, I think we can say that this lens is practically an entry level: it allows you to do (almost) everything, it is able to produce good or even excellent results when technique and shooting conditions are impeccable, otherwise you can still take home the shot (sometimes with some difficulty) but certainly not of quality comparable to that of more noble optics. For my experience and given the value for money it is an excellent product, certainly not free from defects. sent on June 07, 2022 |
