Remarkable macro mode since the minimum focusing distance is only 3cm with focal lengths from 24 to 50mm equivalent. The zoom is just amazing. A sensor so small gives great satisfaction in the focal extension but also brings with it big disadvantages. As soon as the sunlight falls you meet the first limits as increasing the ISO the noise becomes soon unacceptable. Similarly you can't expect the bokeh effect: the only way to get a nice blurry one is to play with the focus distance and with the zoom. The battery life is poor but for a few tens of euros you can buy an extra battery and get rid of the anxiety. Avoid the originals because they are too expensive (I use the Chili Power and they are fine). I put aside this camera to switch to a reflex but weight and clutter make me sometimes prefer the small TZ70.
