![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 ED VR Pros: Comfortable and lightweight, low flare in the backlight Cons: Those easily imaginable for a handyman like this Opinion: After not thinking about it, and without having exhausted my little hesitation, I decided to buy an extremely handy lens (strictly used). The idea of ??starting a holiday (including a safari) could bring a single lens to me Too much to believe, the idea of ??not having to change lens every 10 seconds in an extremely sandy and dusty environment, that not to lose (potentially) even a shot even more! So it was ... rnTime I did the Tamron SP 70-300 Of VC USD, that was my benchmark.rn Turning to Nikon: comfortable is comfortable (ca s do not say), that the quality was not great I expected it, especially In the most extreme situations (during the safari I took so much light with moving subjects, ergo: high ISO, all-open diaphragm, fast times). Repeat, not great, but in many situations I went from 18mm landscape to superzoom To 300mm in half a second, if I had to just change the lens some scenes I would be missed safeMind, I took home sometimes shaky shots, but I took them! RnThe focus sometimes seemed slow and unclear (my benchmark remains the tamron above) but nothing embarrassing. Sharpness at 300mm@6.3 is not a great deal, up to 250 if it hides it definitely better. In general, it is not clear ... rn I was pleasantly surprised at the low flare at the low focal points (actually in the end I also brought the tokina 11-16 which is a blade for sharpness but in the flare it is painful ..) and I Brought good shots even on those occasions.rn 18mm the barrel effect is very accentuated (nothing that does not fix in post) .rn zoom ring may be more fluid.rn to conclude: do not know if it is the lens I would bring Behind for an ad hoc photo session where I can afford the backpack but during my trip I was very happy to have it with me.rn sent on August 28, 2017 |
![]() | Tamron SP 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC LD Pros: Quality / price, opening Cons: MAF Noisy and loupe, my tendency to overexpose (2/3 stop increments) Opinion: Going from a d3100 D7100 I was afraid to encounter the objective limits and instead ... I was shocked. The sharpness is very good even on demanding sensors, maybe not at wide apertures where it is still accettabile.rnLa focus confirm be noisy and not lightning, but nothing serious for the use for which it is my pensato.rnIl tends to overexpose about 2/3 stop, I must remember to manually fix the machine when the monto.rnVersatile with his range is not extensive but very useful, allowing the 17mm to 50mm while the discretti landscapes with f/2.8-4 can hazard a few little portrait male.rnIl weight is not important enough and well you balance on bodies not too light. The lens hood is well made: solid and generous in dimensioni.rnDicono that the version of "smooth" is sharper and that the stabilizer does not serve these focal lengths: the first put my beak but I believe, on the other hand, I think that VC can always return especially useful if you are not used to carry around a tripod and want to hazard a few shots in low light really critical. sent on May 06, 2013 |
![]() | Nikon D7100 Pros: Sharpness, manageability, functionality Cons: Yet to be found ... Perhaps the price?!? And ... the flurry limited to those who use it ... Opinion: I have not so much and I could not test it yet in any type of photos and condition, but the impressions after the first shots are very positive.rnLa lack the low pass filter offers an unrivaled sharpness right on machines in this range , sometimes even "too much" (used for glamor photo shows every little imperfection in the skin or peletto pardoned from waxing ...: P). rnAd ISO mid / high (1500/2000) retains a good level of detail even in poor light and the noise generated is very uniform and easily removed in post produzione.rnIl camera body is very sturdy and solid thanks to the skeleton in magnesium and at the same time is quite leggero.rn24MP 14bit and generate raw heavy enough (on average between 24 and 28 MB) and are only supported by the latest versions of LR and PS at the same time require PC / Mac last generation (64bit architectures ...), alternatively you can convert from. nef to. dng adding not a little time to normal workflow.rnI numerous buttons (and programmability of some of them) alloweasy access to most settings, it is not immediate and suitable as first SLR but ... rnL'elevato number of pixels and the absence of lowpass make you deal with camera shake always lurking! rnih final: a ' excellent semi-professional objectives that requires a good degree of sharpness to be appreciated (Objectives handyman kit and are not his friends ...), I would do that purchase. More could I ask for only a full-frame generation ... sent on April 27, 2013 |
![]() | Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Overall quality of construction, competitive price, sharpness Cons: Slightly dark and soft after 270mm (nothing to worry about anyway) rn Opinion: I switched to this after taking a couple of months earlier unregulated (model A017), two parallel worlds! RnMolto fun to use, the quality of the shots is not great when it is still very good, even in extreme conditions (for es. 300mm and TA). rnLo stabilizer is very very effective (something essential of these focal lengths), although a bit 'noisy, autofocus is accurate, fast and silenzioso.rnInfine is equipped with a lens hood very effective and of good construction . I recommend it! sent on March 17, 2013 |
