![]() | Canon 1200D Pros: Weight, autonomy, compatibility lenses, great photos at low ISO Cons: High ISO pastiness, not present the precision tuning focus Opinion: Great camera to get you started, it has all the manual settings you need to learn; Wide range of compatible lenses and adapters you can use many vintage lenses from the now-insignificant price. Only flaw that I can find is the lack of precise tuning of autofocus, very useful when we have lenses affected by front or back focus, for the rest nothing to say, with a 24 mm pancake is as portable as a mirrorless. sent on August 22, 2018 |
![]() | Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD Pros: Focus, construction, focal hike, stabilizer Cons: Loses a lot from 200 mm onwards, heavy, bulky Opinion: I was looking for a good telephoto lens that cost relatively little and in the end I chose him, the Canon 55-250 STM does not convince with the plastic attack even if the rest is defending well, the Canon 70-300 is quite criticized and costs even more so I went on the safe. The lens looks good, solid construction, including Lens hood and 10 year warranty. Mounted on the machine is exaggerated (I have a Canon 1200d), the weight is as much and unbalanced completely forward (in this aspect much better than the 55-250 STM); The focus ring is beautiful at sight and very fluid, can turn even if set to AF, you can not say the same as the zoom ring that is not very fluid and its hardness varies according to the inclination of the lens. The stabilizer does its job very well, trems a bit at the focal points more pushed but the result for what it costs is more than good, not good for videos because it tends to "autocentrarsi" and the end result is not fluid. Too bad for the lens hood that is very narrow and long and put and remove the cap to the lens is a feat for those who have a little big hands. Speaking instead of image quality is love and hatred, between the 70 and 200 mm about the result is very satisfactory (at 70 mm I would say excellent, are beautiful portraits even at full aperture) even if it is advisable to close a bit the diaphragm (7.1) to have a better result , from 200 to 300 Cala quickly, better to stay at least F8 but at that point it is necessary to increase the ISO for not having moved, in short, better to approach if possible and use shorter focal if you want to have good sharpness. I recommend it without a doubt in this price range is not rivals (after you get directly to the Canon 70-200 L) Even if it is worth evaluating the Canon 55-250 STM that costs a lot less (I saw it again at 170-180 euros) since the 300 mm are little exploitable. sent on August 22, 2018 |
![]() | Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Pros: sharpness, brightness f 2.8, fluid zoom mechanism, price Cons: Weight, F/B focus, autofocus in low light, huge filters, (cannot deactivate the stabilizer?) Opinion: Bought this lens to replace that kit, used on a Canon 1200d. The lens looks solid, it also weighs a lot (about 650g) and the neck is felt after a few hours especially if accustomed to that kit. The image quality is great, after F4 I would say perfect. A few problems of F/B focus typical of Sigma but you only notice when shooting from very close and the depth of field is minimal. The autofocus is in crisis when there is little light and you often have to resort to an auxiliary light or go directly in manual; In optimum light conditions it is quick, quiet and hardly mistaken. Very nice Bokeh and easy to get seen the wide aperture. The stabilizer works fine (even too much since on my Canon 1200d you can not disable, I'm trying to contact Sigma to solve the problem) allows you to get sharp images even with the dim light of a fire, even in the videos you Performs well without strange shots. Beautiful the huge front lens, however, requires 77mm filters that are quite expensive. Ultimately I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to replace the kit lens. sent on August 22, 2018 |
