![]() | Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM II Pros: Sharpness, autofocus speed (crazy), design Cons: It does not focus while zooming (which the Mk 1 did not do) Opinion: A lens of a unique speed thanks to the Nano USM system. Good sharpness for a standard lens not L. I'm a sports photographer and previously I had the Mk 1 of this lens. I never sold it. With this lens I really have a big problem in tracking subjects while I zoom in and zoom out. Let me explain. The lens stops focusing and following the subject as it zooms in (for example, if a subject is approaching and you're in SERVO mode while you're retracting and extending the zoom dial, it stops focusing and you have to stop to continue following the subject with focus). It's a shame, which the previous version didn't do. Since it's an Mk2 I expected that there weren't these downgrades in the lens. For the rest it is an excellent zoom lens for those who travel and everyday use with the new modern Canon machines. I use a 7D Mk2 sent on July 22, 2019 |
![]() | Canon 7D Pros: Ergonomics, rapid, beautiful also aesthetically, rapid and precise AF, Video. Cons: Noise, useless if you talk to pull out the shadows in post production, AF in Live View very slow (note that it is of 2009), No SERVO af in video. Opinion: Very respectable machine, a camera that made me think of the history of reduced-size professional machines. The 7d still in 2019 gives great results. To talk about Live View, well what about. The live view itself is great but the focus via sensor, well I by several problems with its slowness but it is accurate to 90%, I use it often because of a Sigma lens that does not work properly with the AF in Reflex mode. To talk about noise here I would like to clarify that the noise that has at high ISO and just for a car of its time, even perhaps too much, but when you palra post production you can not do anything. In case you have a picture where you have a dark area; Illuminating the shadow area means ruining only the photo. The problem is that the sensor of all 7d has the problem of creating vertical strips on the sensor in dark areas and this makes it annoying to see. As a photo camera like birdlife and wildlife what about... just respect for this beast! sent on February 01, 2019 |
![]() | Canon EOS M3 Pros: Light, ergonomic, intuitive and simple to use even for those who are novice but who wants to become a true professional, controllable by smartphones Cons: Slow autofocus (with non-native lenses it is even more, it also depends on the lens), the View Finder takes time to turn on once leaning the eye to it, and slow once taken the photo also in reduced quality Opinion: Perfect machine for those who want to start getting serious. The machine is light and ergonomic even for those who have big hands. I use it for six years now and I have to say that it is perfect for those who want to be with a light weight but with the power of a real entry level SLR already advanced. With the addition of the viewfinder View finder you will have more precision and versatility. Unsuitable for sports events or action if you want to shoot in AF (autofocus). The machine has a crazy quality to be an APS-C from 24.2 MP. It will be the car that will make you decide which way to take. sent on August 24, 2018 |
