![]() | Canon RF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM Pros: Sharpness, size and weight, autofocus, stabilization Cons: Loss of sharpness at the edges, some AC, non-optimal flare resistance Opinion: Finally a 24-105 f4 as it should be! Very light and compact, instant and silent focus, good sharpness even at full aperture, sometimes it has some AC but easily eliminated in post. Some complain about games or noises of the parts but in my case everything is perfectly solid. I consider it the perfect standard zoom for my R6, body and lens work together ensuring excellent stabilization and although it is not a lens designed for portraiture the blurred is not evil. Ultimately it is an excellent lens to take on the road, for long or quiet outings, bringing little weight you can have versatility thanks to the focal excursion and more than good optical performance, personally with this lens I am having a lot of fun and I find it very useful for generic situations. For many enthusiasts it could be the only lens to accompany without sacrificing the quality of the images. Despite some slight optical defects considering the many merits and the affordable price compared to other L series: rating 10 sent on September 16, 2022 |
![]() | Canon EOS R6 Pros: Autofocus, ISO seal, operating speed, dynamic range, dimensions and weight, dual SD slots, IBIS, rings and functions Cons: 20mp in case of crop, with 24mp it would have been perfect Opinion: I have recently switched from 6D mkII to R6 and I am fully satisfied with the choice, I immediately tested it in the field working on a dog show, 2 days of work for 6/8 hours of work a day, thousands of photos taken and it did not disappoint me, I managed to shoot at HIGHER ISO than the 6D managing to have excellent safety times and the images came out perfect and clean, despite the low light and the subjects were often in motion the autofocus has practically never been wrong, another thing for me important is that thanks to the internal stabilization and the exceptional iso seal the F4 lenses can be better exploited with little light, the RAW files are very workable and the dynamic range is excellent, the recovery of shadows also. Being smaller and lighter than an SLR especially when coupled with the new RF lenses also saves weight and effort. Only negative note: a few more mp would not have hurt but in general I can not complain and I am very satisfied with this R6 sent on September 13, 2022 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM Pros: Color rendition, aperture, blurred, construction, AF fast and accurate. Cons: Not very sharp at full aperture, some chromatic aberration. Expensive. Opinion: I purchased this 50l for the three-dimensionality, the color rendition and the unique fuzzy that returns, the photos look like paintings, for artistic shots is phenomenal. Present some chromatic aberration, vignette a little but are characteristics of this lens, I personally like these "flaws". If you look for absolute sharpness at TA, the market is better (but just close a bit and is a blade). The construction is excellent, to the touch you perceive that the lens is solid, does not imgombra and does not weigh much. Versatile lens, autofocus is fast and precise, never wrong, manual focus is pleasant even if it requires a bit of practice because especially at large openings is easy to err. The price to have it may seem high but after months of use I can say I'm happy, has an unmistakable imprint, I will not separate easily. sent on July 04, 2018 |
