![]() | Nikon Z6 III Pros: AF Cons: Ergonomics top buttons, tiltable screen Opinion: In contrast to the trend, I write this review in one go, after only an afternoon of use coming from the older sister Z6II and therefore having clear automatisms of use as a Nikon user of the same level of range in my head. I can say a few things not even having seen the photos obtained yet and they are all about the impressions of use on the camera. 1- It seems absurd to me to design key movements once you have found an ergonomically valid position: what do you think of moving an insignificant but crucial key such as exposure compensation by a good centimeter away from the shutter release button and out of the operating axis of each human index finger? Why do you have to put him so in line with others? Or is it me who has such a deformation of the phalanges that they do not bend horizontally? 2- At first glance I had doubts about the comfort of the tilting screen and I had confirmation using it: turn it as you want but it will always be in the middle of the boxes and will end up hanged in the strap strap. For heaven's sake it is priceless compared to the Z6II to be able to orient it in all ways but stealing the pattern from its older sister Z8 instead of from a video camera would have been pure gold for a photographer. 3- I have to deepen the various settings but the AF improvements seemed stratospheric to me! In the previous version, eye hooking was lazy and limited to optimal conditions. In this new version it seems to see a new generation Terminator at work. I can't wait to see the photos taken. 4- As I did with the old version I will adopt a small metal grip in order to have just 2 cm more body height to be able to better grasp it even with the little finger and have the possibility of faster mounting on the tripod both horizontally and vertically. sent on December 09, 2025 |
![]() | Lowepro Flipside 200 AW II Pros: Opening system when worn Cons: waterproofing, depth Opinion: I have been using it for several years now, I find it very convenient to open it by rotating it on the side or front, after removing the shoulder straps, thus being able to access the contents by keeping it fastened at the waist without resting it and therefore avoiding dirt in certain situations. The internal detachable pouch that I use for small accessories is convenient. In hindsight, however, I would have taken a deeper model to be able to put the lenses standing instead of lying down and thus have more capacity. The waterproofing is poor: if you do not use the plastic canopy, the backpack gets wet even with light drizzle or accidental splashes while under the umbrella. It's roomy but I'm often forced to use a backpack together when I don't have to travel light and I don't know which lens I'll use. I recommend it to start or if you take photos in areas where you will not have the possibility of support otherwise you might as well definitely take something more capacious and deep. ![]() | DJI Air 2S Pros: Stability, photo and video quality, smart modes, ease of use. Cons: As an amateur drone and self-styled photographer I certainly can't find any. Opinion: I aimed high when I bought this drone and I am satisfied with it. License and regulations are unpleasant but you have to do the bill and always use it with your head. I do not know how much more dangerous than a Mini to use in urban areas but the rules are, unfortunately! I am far from having exploited it to the full to be able to review it exhaustively but every time I use it, even after almost a year, it amazes me. I came from an Air first version and the difference in terms of signal stability and photo quality (which I use for the most) are much better. Of course the price is perhaps at the limit of an amateur use but compared to SLRs I would say that it is acceptable given what it allows you to do. There were no reviews about this bomb yet (while I see that there are many great photos) and I had to write something. If you are looking for quality and not a mosquito for selfies from above I recommend it. Have a nice flight! sent on May 12, 2022 |
