![]() | Nikon D700 Pros: Body Pro - intuitive - solid - excellent management for the era of low luc i- clean and light files in both Jpg and Nef and also in Tiff Cons: Video sector that does not use dilutive Live view poor - few MPX in case of crop pushed. in the same era Canon with the 5D Mk II had a nearly double resolution. Opinion: I've owned this body for about 3 years. Entered my possession in perfect condition with 84,000 shots by accident. the Canon 5D MK II I had purchased with a defect. Changed on par with the D700. Since then it has been total feeling. I own several newer Nikon bodies, but needless to say, this body is my favorite. It falls into the hand, intuitive solid, a reassuring shutter sound. It suffers a bit from the low lights, but it still shoots at 3200 iso with few interventions in pp. Light Files both Jpg and Nef also snaps in Tiff. All very workable. Few MPX is true but also for this large photodiodes with a very pleasant result reminiscent of analog in some cases. Very recommended. I met a photographer from Florence who never had a problem reached 900,000 shutter shots and it was still working. It has the pop-up flash (great in some cases). The pushed crops obviously do not make for her given the resolution not high, but very valid images even today. In 2019 I recommend to try it and in case you get excited as you did with me... good purchase. really cheap. sent on December 19, 2019 |
