![]() | Ricoh GR IIIx Pros: Pocket-sized, featherweight, stabilized, ease of use, incredible image quality even with the addition of the Tele conversion GT-2 and 75 mm focal length, unique in its kind. It is addictive. Cons: Limited battery but with three behind it is easily solved Opinion: After more than a year and a half always with me, from small trips to long journeys alongside the GRIII I do not feel the need for anything else. And with the addition of the GT-2 lens that brings the focal length to 75 mm covers the focal lengths of my interest. Accustomed to the viewfinder of the Canon FF (sold) I had no problem getting used to shooting from the screen, on the other hand this has been happening for some time with the Iphone. I confirm the very positive opinions already expressed about the GRIII purchased two years earlier, but I admit that I am still discovering its potential and secrets to get the best. No dust problems so far and in Mexico it has been used in rather dusty places. Beautiful files, crisp and contrasted image quality, it is a joy to admire the results in such a small space. You shoot so much because it goes unnoticed so as to allow you to steal scenes in a moment in snap focus mode. Thank you Pentax for this wonderful toy. sent on June 14, 2023 |
![]() | Ricoh GR III Pros: A unique machine, you keep it in your pocket and if you need it is ready to give emotions that I do not remember with the Canon FF. It churns out a scary detail and a contrast to be amazed. Featherweight, excellent optics, for my taste the menu of simple approach is too rich but allows you to customize it to the fullest. The b\ is great at least for my palate. Cons: Limited battery life, I get to 250\\260 photos but nothing serious bringing with it two stocks. For the rest it is exceptional. Opinion: After more than a year and a half of use, the Canon FF is there that takes dust but I keep it because I love the SLR world, always preferring and I always say take the GRIII with me even when I do not think of using it. It has changed my mental approach to amateur photography and soon I will join the GRIIIx finding the 40mm its natural evolution, perhaps more congenial to my viewing angle, but I will keep them both because everyone will have his task. It's fun to use it by trying the various settings also thanks to the free Ricoh Recipes application. Accustomed to taking pictures with the Iphone 12 Pro Max I find the speed of execution of the GRIII surprising not feeling in any way the lack of the optical viewfinder. Frames and snap focus shots in street photography. He will be with me for many years. sent on October 01, 2021 |
