![]() | Nikon Z8 Pros: Autofocus speed, file quality, body ergonomics Cons: Some uncertainty in the more dynamic focus Opinion: I bought the Z8 about a month and a half ago and so far I can be more than satisfied in every respect. The files are detailed but at the same time light thanks to the new compression algorithms, practically with twice as many megapixels the weight is slightly higher than the file of a Z6II... Not bad!! Yield at high iso excellent and equal again to the Z6II which has half the megapixels so in theory a machine with more megapixels should generate more grain and instead is equal and indeed it seems to me that the Z8 generates a more pleasant grain than the Z6II. Dynamic range, perhaps I would have expected something more but it is still very high and comparable to the other mirrorless Z. Battery life well beyond expectations, I made a service at the theater taking 4000 photos without problems ... The important thing is to disable the various connections that knock down the battery. Fast autofocus and with many options, perhaps it has some uncertainty with fast-moving subjects but nothing so problematic. Last note, my car is in stock of the Z8 with the problem with the attachment of the lenses and the eyelets of the belt that could detach. So far, neither problem has arisen. I doubt that the lenses start from nothing not to hook properly, while as for the attachment of the strap at the moment I'm not experiencing problems but obviously I keep an eye on the situation. sent on August 10, 2023 |
