![]() | Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sport Pros: Build quality, sharpness to all focal points, always precise and fast autofocus, effective stabilizer, f:2,8, ability to customize some features Cons: Weight Opinion: I have been using it for about 6 months and I can only confirm the more than positive rating of previous reviews. I think it expresses the best in the sports and action photo: with a precise and very fast autofocus combined with a nikon d500 does not miss a beat. I also use it with the 1.4 duplicator that leads me to a f:4 diaphragm with a focal range of 98-280, which on a dx sensor means having a 150-420 (about) and it seems to me not small!. Good stabilizer. I didn't have any problem calibrating the focus. Good sharpness already at full opening. Unfortunately the only mole the weight, about 1.8 kg., which combined with the weight of the body machine, is felt: the use of the monopod is very useful. sent on February 08, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED Pros: Good color yield and versatility Cons: The sharpness is not exciting. Price Opinion: Purchased about 6 months ago is a pleasant lens to use. Good focal excursion equivalent to a 16-36 that allows ample use and the diaphragm (f: 3.5-4,5) is acceptable as brightness (unfortunately it is not stabilized). Great color yield. Weaknesses are sharpness (poor especially at the edges) and distortion (high) to the 10 mm focal and close values. It definitely improves with the longer focal points, I would say great at 24 mm. For those who love the landscape photo and the pushed wide-angle can be disappointing while I find it great for street and interior photos. It is worth if purchased on occasion, I do not find adequate the cost to new. Comment updated on 1/23/2020 sent on November 21, 2019 |
![]() | Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Pros: sharpness already at TA, color rendering, light, excellent quality / price ratio Cons: autofocus a bit noisy Opinion: I bought it and I've been trying it for a few days but the first impressions are positive. In principle I can confirm the positive reviews already expressed by other users.rnThe use on DX sensor (Nikon) or APS C and is very versatile, not only for macro but also portrait. Having to do an analysis of the two types of shooting, I would summarize the characteristics.rnMacro: to get to the ratio 1: 1 you have to get a lot closer (30-40 cm from the focal plane) which means going very close with the lens to the subject. Autofocus has some uncertainty, but in any case it is precise, personally I prefer the MF: it has a wide and smooth motorcycle ring. The front lens is placed a lot inside and therefore is protected without necessarily resorting to UV lenses or similar protection. Working in macro the maximum aperture stops at 3.5.rnPortrait: it is certainly not a soft lens and does not have the focus of certain Nikon lenses, but you can adjust well in PP. The color rendering is balanced: it is certainly a good goalwithout fainting with Nikon's expensive optics. Sin does not have the stabilizer. I find instead comfortable the selection system from AF to MFrnNon I still have precise feedback in using against the light or with critical lights: it seems to me that the flare will show up. A last suggestion: before starting to use it I recommend a quick reading at instruction sheet. There are some situations in the use, that if they are not well understood it seems that the lens does not work well or worse, you risk damaging it: see the use of the switch AF / MF and LIMIT / FULL (I will not dwell here in the explanations ) .rnConcluding it is a good goal that can be purchased in shops on the web at favorable prices (even under 300 euros) rnrn sent on March 03, 2018 |
