![]() | Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD Pros: lightness, 2.8 opening, compactness, 10-year warranty, AF Cons: Difficult manual MAF, lack of AF/MF button, no customizable button Opinion: Beautiful optics, beautiful yield, high sharpness even at the most open, light and compact diaphragms, took the place without regret at 70-200. Fast and precise AF. The biggest flaw is the difficulty of manual focus, no button or switch, which always forces a few too many passages... if they had put this blessed switch and maybe even a programmable button.. would be the TOP. Positive aspect: Tamron warranty 5 years + another 5 years Poliphoto.. total 10 years... sent on May 04, 2021 |
![]() | Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: Extreme sharpness Cons: Weight... Opinion: I have been using it for several years, first on Canon (5D MK III to 5Ds R) and now on Sony A7R IV (with Sigma adaptor), it is a spectacular lens, extreme sharpness, already elevated to TA. Perhaps one of the best lenses I have used in recent years, even with sony's 61 Mpx has an incredible rendering in detail. Landscape, night photo... and also great for studio portraits, the bokeh isn't great. The only drawback.. the weight.. sent on October 20, 2020 |
![]() | Tokina Firin 20mm f/2 FE AF Pros: light, sharpness, color yield Cons: a little weak at TA Opinion: (also posted in the MF version by mistake) Beautiful lens that I used especially for landscapes. Light, excellent color yield, diameter filters 62. Vignette in TA but for landscape photography is obviously not a problem. Personally, I think it gives the best between f5.6 and f11. A bit pricey, but price proportionate to surrender. I had the Sigma Art 20 1.4, and in my opinion the Tokina is superior. I have the autofocus version. sent on September 11, 2020 |
