![]() | Canon EOS R5 Pros: Autofocus, medium good iso highs, gust. The ability to use the duplicators greatly increased. Cons: Battery and lag Evf Opinion: I'm not an expert. So take my opinions "cum grain salis". I can only compare it to the Canon 7d mkII that I have always used only for birds, mostly in flight. The r5 comes and will be used for the same purpose, with the 100-400 and the 500. The only problem I found is the Evf lag when the battery is about 50%. It becomes difficult to follow the birds in flight with the gust, especially the fast ones (and the small ones are....). I also think I found a bug in the software (... I think...): I set the back keys (af and asterisk) to the autofocus. With one I go to the area, with the other on the Eye. I forgot to take the autofocus off the shutter button. For a couple of times I pressed the autofocus eye and the shutter button in half. The car froze and I had to turn it off to reset it. For the rest... damn what a car! sent on September 30, 2020 |
