![]() | Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR Pros: If perfection exists, here we are close Cons: For me nothing Opinion: Optics to say the least extraordinary, there are no optics that have the same focal length, so comparisons would be inappropriate. If you want it would be the 16 F 1.4, which although it is a great goal, the 18 with two gears more. Sharpness all open (in the center) is amazing, but even in the corners considering the aperture at f 1.4, it is really remarkable. Tested on the XH2-S AF very fast and quiet. To keep it short we say that the " defects " of the 16 here are practically gone P.S. For the price speech, it is true the figure is important, but I think that for this lens it is worth making a sacrifice sent on October 12, 2022 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R WR Pros: Improved in almost all the " defects " of the previous 56 Cons: I state that I have to test it calmly, but for now nothing Opinion: I wrote " defects " in quotation marks because, my personal opinion, I remove too much definition but when it is missing you can not add it. I did some fast and home tests and therefore I reserve the right to complete my review later with more accuracy. I was lucky enough to have both the previous 56 F 1.2 and the 50 F1, and the new 56 to take decidedly from the 50 F1 but eliminated the defect of the 50 weight and bulk, the real Achilles heel of that optics. I like the fact that it is a little more chubby than its predecessor, I feel it well in my hand, the key that blocks the aperture ring, great. Another very welcome thing is the tropicalization, it is not that I often go to photograph in the rain, but it is also useful for the usual problem of dust. Focus ring is really guduriosa, rubbed the right. What really struck me, returning to my first words is the really excellent sharpness, the AC for those few shots I made, have been improved, but this is a test that I could not complete, as indeed for the AF speech, but from what little I saw, in combination with the XH2s, there seems to be a good improvement in speed. It certainly cannot be compared to the 23 or the 33 new series with all the lenses it has to move. The evaluation whether to replace the old 56 to this I do not feel give it, considering the difference in price, I can only tell you, go and try it does not disappoint expectations (indeed) in the most absolute way. If I can see to publish some photos photos, purely for demonstration purposes of the tests I did sent on September 29, 2022 |
![]() | Zeiss ZE/ZF.2 Distagon T* 15mm f/2.8 Pros: yield and construction Cons: price and weight, unfortunately the quality you its prices Opinion: Excellent color rendering, sharpness until you get to the edge just close a stop while in the middle even at full aperture is strabiliante.L 'chromatic aberration is unknown at this lens, minimal distortion and flare have great strength in the end the ring of focus, as already described by those who preceded me is truly spectacular, initially purchased for landscapes, thinking that the 'MF does not offer me great opportunities for other shots ......... I sbagliavo.rnInsomma a blunder costs and weighs much but who takes a 15mm without compromise is the optical reference sent on November 27, 2013 |
