The build quality doesn't look great, or better not by the feeling of robustness that give Canon's high end lenses. I recommend it to those who are particularly oriented to these focal lengths, otherwise, if you have 2 or 3 other lenses in your backpack, maybe you will pass the urge and prefer something lighter.
