Nikon AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 G ED

Pros: Sharpness, microcontrast, colour rendition, angle of view.

Cons: weight, too strange flare in some situations, coloured "blicks" even with no sun in the frame (sometimes), no possibility to attach filters, price too high.

Opinion: Much better choise than the 16-35/4 Nikkor. Completely different colours and contrast than this competitor. Including all PROS and CONS: the best very wide angle Nikkor lens! The most of little disadvantages of this lens could be easy removed in postproduction. With excellent microcontrast and colours (typical for Nikon lenses) the rest of job at computer screen is very nice - you simply get extraordinary picture. This item is "must have one" for all full frame "Nikonians". Of course one can buy a Zeiss 15/2,8, which is also very good piece of glass with overgrown price.
