![]() | Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Pros: Stunning AF, sharpness, Bokeh, stabilization: it's a blade that doesn't miss a beat. Cons: Cost; Weight (?) but how could it not be otherwise?! Opinion: I took it because the canvas is my size and guys, what a lens! Sometimes it seems that she does everything she does and you just have to press the shutter button. It drives me crazy for the incredible precision and speed of the AF, the sharpness even at TA, the stabilization that allows you to shoot with absurd times. When you have to seize a moment and think you're late, often, you've got it all right. It's a lens that when I choose what to put in my backpack, in the end, I can't help but take. Although it remains unbalanced for the Sony "little bodies", given the not indifferent weight, I think it is a matter of feeling and once you understand how to hold it, said brutally, it is only a pleasure to use. The sore point can be represented, perhaps, only by cost. sent on March 04, 2021 |
![]() | Sony A7r IV Pros: Amazing files for sharpness and workability, ergonomics, viewfinder, AF... Sony. Cons: Cost; not immediate and simple to handle all those megapixels, high ISO noise (although you could imagine). Opinion: Unlike the 7III, with which it was love at first sight, with this machine I had some initial difficulties in the general management of the shots: the 61mpx are really many and they all feel, both in the heaviness of the single photo, and in RAW, uncompressed is on 120 Mb, and in the final quality of the same: exceptional! After the first concerns, however, you can not but appreciate the improvements that Sony has made to ergonomics, keys, viewfinder (I always keep as a reference model my a7III) ... It's a professional-level machine and you can see it. He certainly gives his best in landscape photos, in portraits, where 61mpx amaze me every time for the incredible details they can grasp. Less "brilliant" (and less recommended) for events where an avalanche of GB is triggered - managing them in Post is not immediate - although then, every time you look at the final result, you make a reason for it and it was worth it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to do anything, because it's not a "all do" as an A7III could be, in fact. But if you need a big megapixel then it's definitely worth considering, cost permitting (which I honestly find a bit high). sent on March 04, 2021 |
![]() | Sony A7 III Pros: ISO seal, AF speed, image quality. Cons: Not excellent viewfinder, touch. Opinion: I was very uncertain whether to continue on the SLRs or switch to ML. After trying this machine I had no doubt anymore because I fell in love with it from the beginning. It met practically all the needs I needed 3 years ago and still remains today (2021) absolutely reliable and advanced. Shine to have excellent AF, good burst, absurd ISO seal, and remarkable file quality and cleanliness. Not being the "PRO" version, I realize that the viewfinder is definitely a small defect; I would add that I have never been convinced by the touch/non-touch of the Sony screen: I find it limiting. As far as ergonomics is concerned, however, I personally do not find it uncomfortable. Switching from Canon to Sony can initially create some difficulty in untangle on the menu, which is certainly less intuitive than the Canon one, but it's super customizable and it's just a matter of habit. It is a stain that I would recommend to anyone. Maximum vote without a doubt: 10. sent on March 04, 2021 |
