nikon_50_f1-8dNikon AF 50mm f/1.8 D

Pros: Price, sharpness, brightness, fuzzy neutral, color rendering

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: First of all we highlight the cons ... no! I could not find against us no matter how reasoned out. I could say the materials it is made of plastic? No, because it is well executed. I could say the dimensions that make the manual focheggiatura difficult? No, it is wrong! It is true that the small size rear their hand but the dial is easy and precise focusing. Having to find the hairs do not know if my model took powder in a way unknown to me but every once in while focusing hand however it is extremely fluid but is very soft so you do not have a hard time putting the ring one millimeter dietro.rnrnI pros are obvious from the shots in this gallery dedicated. Light and easy, it allows you to make half-length portraits and the focal length of DX sensor it is not very long with its 75mm allowing you to have fun in other areas. The opening is a fabulous f1.8 which gave me lot of satisfaction in both portraits in natural photosistiche and of poor light conditions. I think I would never have brought home many shots had it not been for the resilience to 1600iso of D40 coupled to this sensor. I'd rather have a little 'grain that the flash fired on a subject and the shadows behind. In a portrait is really a bad scelta.rnLa color rendering is fabulous! I compared a lens Pentacon 50mm f1.8 produced by Carl Zeiss is this Nikon behaved better, had good color rendering, excellent sharpness and a beautiful complexion. I use it mainly for portraits and already at full aperture is crystal clear and gives a mild and mellow bokeh. The areas out of focus of the main subject are pleasant and neutral, ditto the light sources on the back that despite the sun 7 diaphragm blades are very soft. At f2.8 becomes a knife. It does not introduce distortions of any kind and always allows correct exposures to the machine body. rnrnForse I found a flaw: the focus AF .... if they had produced this lens with AF-S motor'd be even happier. Apparently the procast of new f1.8 AF-S50 is not comparable to this product. Mild sprains, minor aberrations and discrete sharpness. At the same time this does not distortions and aberrations, and the sharpness is excellent, however the autofocus could use .... but maybe it's a defect that the AF-S does not have its yield ... he was born that way, for machines with :) autofocus motor. At this price it is unbeatable. I need AF-S but hardly sell. It's too good to do that and gave me too many satisfactions !!!!

nikon_18-55dx_v2Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G II

Pros: quality / price ratio, sharpness, aberrations and distortions contained

Cons: evident constructive and perceived quality

Opinion: In hand the idea of ??a delicate product, very light and economical plastics. However, it is more robust than it seems and has made rapid and very precise focus. The range offered is ideal for any use: from landscapes to reportage, from portraits half-length at some macros with compromises. Compromises are not due to the sharpness which is very high considering the range in which it is located and the purchase price but mostly for the reproduction ratio. It provides the macro function but has a minimum focusing distance enough thrust and results in images that are closer to the higher end objectives. The sharpness is fairly constant at all focal lengths with a slight loss of sharpness and contrast in bright situations. However it does not suffer from the backlight (good lens ED) and aperture returns the sunshine on a beautiful star. A slight loss of sharpness over apertures f16 and a minimum of chromatic aberration (on Nikon D40, for other bodies have not tried yet) in anyand limit contrast situations but really almost imperceptible and easily recoverable. The clarity you have about a stop and a half above the maximum aperture but already at TA returns sharper images than many much more expensive lenses. Missing VR but from what I read around it seems to be the clearest stabilized counterpart. PS: do not underestimate the extensibility of focus, I scratched the lens slightly because the focus moves much from the objective proportions.
