![]() | Minolta Rokkor 50mm f/2 Pros: Really sharp already at f2.8, good blurred, very light, good construction and fluid ring movement(I have the non-rokkor version of the 80s) Cons: Nothing at the price at which it is, maybe a bit of flare if you photograph against the sun and if the same is not in front of you Opinion: What can I say.... Bought the non-rokkor version released in the 80s and paid € 50 used, but kept very well without any defect. I am of the opinion that Minolta made high quality material and its perfect functionality after all these years proves it. I use it on my a7s with adapter ring in manual mode and it's fine... Really sharp... blurred nice but not the top (obviously). On the advice of a friend, great photographer, I took this version f 2.0 And not the' 1.7 because it seems to be sharper.... I do not know if it is true but the test of the facts are very satisfied .... For 50€ then... I decided to make myself a park of vintage Minolta fixed optics, so I am enthusiastic and low prices at which they are found. The manual focus with Sony (excellent focus peaking system, extremely precise) with short portrait focal lengths for me is not a problem ... In fact, I have more fun !!! then working in semi/manual mode (in A mode with aperture setting on lens) teaches you to shoot better. sent on May 22, 2023 |
![]() | Sony A7s Pros: Professional tropicalized camera body, quality shots and videos (1080p) even at high ISO, lightness, excellent ergonomics and customization keys, excellent manual focus mode even for third-party lenses (with adapter), good viewfinder and LCD screen, fairly precise autofocus even in low light, wireless Cons: Autofocus only contrast, burst slow shots, battery not very durable (but sufficient), no 4k video in the car, 12mpx (if you need more). Non-stabilized sensor Opinion: Socket used with only 9000 shots taken and with attached two lenses ..... at a price I couldn't refuse... That said, the camera is really good for photo quality at high and low ISO and for 1080p videos, still current today after almost 10 years since its release. Professional camera body (you feel it immediately when you pick it up) with good customization possibilities, good quality viewfinder and good LCD. I really like the ergonomics of the machine and I find everything quickly by customizing what I need. Autofocus only in contrast and without two thousand focus points :), excellent manual focus mode, exposure meter always rather precise. The megapixels are "only" 12 (enough for me) and the burst is rather slow, but this camera is not made for photographic hunting and is declared and known. The best of if it is notoriously at high ISO where sometimes (exposing well of course) is impressive. Good dynamic range. If you are looking for a machine to make street, photos at high ISO, portraiture, landscape and excellent movies (really remarkable) at 1080p, this is still the machine for you ... For photo hunting and if you need a lot of megapixels, look for more. sent on April 27, 2023 |
![]() | Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Vario Tessar T* Pros: Relative Lightness, decent autofocus, build quality for the price, low flare, stabilized Cons: Full aperture sharpness, blurred Opinion: They almost gave it to me attached to the alpha7s just taken used, so I have little to complain ..... That said, an all-rounder zoom without infamy and without praise. Good autofocus, stabilized and rather light, but sharpness just did not ... At full aperture it loses a lot and you always have to close the aperture to get decent results, so as to make me check if I had taken the photos at higher ISO by mistake ... The blurred is ugly(although I know that it is not a lens made for that) and above all, sometimes, opening to f4 known blurs even in the central area of the photo where there should not be... Basically do not buy it new, if you find a great opportunity used and you do not have pretensions to shoot at full opening you can evaluate the purchase, but nothing more ..... sent on April 27, 2023 |
![]() | Huawei Mate 10 Pro Pros: Speed (which never falls even after months), infinite battery, great photos, excellent screen, build quality, waterproofness, good video, AI, excellent reception, dual sim in 4g, 128GB memory, PC mode excellent and without using doking (just a cable ESB/HDMI ) Cons: Missing audio jack (but there is adapter from USB), missing Bluetooth 5.0, sometimes problems compatibility with Android car, Opinion: Excellent terminal, always fast even after months of use and never a slowdown (as it happens instead to Samsung). Very good photographic quality at the level of the other top of the range of the various brands and all the parameters adjustable in manual. Interesting the possibility of night photos with long exposure freehand with artificial intelligence that stabilizes; It does wonders but you bring home shots otherwise impossible to do, this feature will be the future also of professional cameras, you'll see. Infinite battery and unreachable from the other top of the most famous range. AMOLED screen very good and visible even in the sun. Excellent reception superior to very poor (from this point of view) iphone X (tested by me personally) and also to Samsung. Good videos but less than Samsung and Apple mainly due to the absence stabilization at 4k resolution but as quality we are more or less there and it is more than adequate in every field. A gem that has only Huawei is instead the desktop mode that works without dock or adapters just have the USB/HDMI cable and attach it to the monitor, really good and spectacular... not say replace the PC but you do almost everything. Only true neo of the product and brand in general is compatibility with Android cars, not infrequently on many cars (not all) does not work or has problems, and although with the latest update has improved the situation the problem is not yet resolved. No problem instead to connect the phone to the car via Bluetooth although I hear many users complain of poor compatibility with some fitness watches or similar (but I hear complaints of this type for all brands). ![]() | Sony A100 Pros: detail at low ISO, ergonomics, reliability Cons: noise at high ISO, slow autofocus Opinion: Now antiquated machine released in 2006 but at low iso the CCD, in my opinion, gives a detail than a hair color cmos and "more real." On the other hand the files produced are not recoverable in post, especially the highlights. At high iso from the worst of if (a certain age ..) and it is better to use other machines if you have photographic requirements where high iso are indispensabili.L 'autofocus is very slow compared to modern machines. In essence, despite his age, if you have to shoot at low iso static subjects is still a car that returns great pictures, in other conditions, you can find much better. Another fact to be reckoned with is the reliability, I never heard her complain about problems or defects owner even after years of use, solid and good ergonomics. sent on October 02, 2011 |
![]() | Sony DT 16-105mm f/3.5-5.6 Pros: excellent at 16mm, no flare, af good versatility Cons: loses detail at the edges between 50-70mm, a bit expensive Opinion: Excellent lens 16 mm even at maximum aperture, detail comparable to a fixed wide-angle lens. Excellent colors, no flare and af fast. Lose a little at the edges between 50 and 70mm where it is better to close f8 even if the quality never drops to low levels .... each has a zoom range which led to the worst if ... Remarkable with flash where the function adi is well implemented and never misses a espossizione; imposed 200iso, f / 8 shots and great shots at all focal lengths without changing lenses every 5 minutes ... In essence, a good 16-24mm and good / fair to the other focal lens handyman is passed with flying colors. The alternative is the home sony zeiss 16-80 is sharper at the edges but it costs more and has a lower extension, the choice is yours. sent on October 02, 2011 |
![]() | Sony 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G SSM Pros: Sharp, colors, autofocus is very fast (motor SSM), light, blurred, good build quality, no chromatic aberration Cons: F/4.5-5.6 Opinion: First, like all Sony lenses, the street price is considerably lower than the price (it was also € 550 in a famous chain of stores). That said, I can confirm that it is indeed an excellent lens in sharpness exceeded only by fixed high level (equivalent focal length of course). Autofocus motor benefits from the "ultrasonic" SSM, which guarantees a remarkable speed, the construction is of good quality, the lens is lightweight and compact, chromatic aberrations are absent. At this price I think that more can not be asked even if a bit more brightness would not have failed (would increase the cost though ..). E ', in my opinion, better than the equivalent canon and nikon especially in sharpness (the various tests on the net seem to confirm this). Considering the street price is one of the best lenses ever for what concerns the quality / price ratio. sent on October 01, 2011 |
![]() | Sony A700 Pros: diunamica excellent range, fast AF (with the right lenses) and very precise, to 5fps burst, exceptional ergonomics, quality up to ISO 1600 and uilizzabile until 3200, excellent viewfinder and tropical Cons: discontinued, no live view, over 1600 iso new sensors are better, no fine adjustment of focus, takes a bit of experience and knowledge to be exploited to the maximum Opinion: I bought it used a year and a half ago to about 450 € and I fell in love right away ... the car is now antiquated, I know ... but when something is quality holds more the inexorable aging technology. The AF is fast and always accurate. When used with SSM lenses, such as the Sony 70-300G, gives great satisfaction also in photo-naturalistic mind you the AF is definitely not configurable and efficient as that of canon7d or nikon d7000 but it is still good. A 1600 iso noise is low and the quality is good as long as you expose well, maybe slightly overexposed +0.3 or +0.7 because sony at high iso implementation uses a very conservative exposure than the competition. More than 1600 today is definitely better although until 3200 it is still usable (I printed on a3 a very dark picture taken at ISO 2500 without noticeable noise or problems) and using most modern machines APSC personally do not see a huge difference ... indeed in some cases none. The ergonomics are excellent, you change any setting in a second and the handle is comodissima.Ottima build quality. Basically, in my opinion, is still present with a machine body and ergonomics as a pro. Used to find a great deal at a price below 500 € (perhaps to gain experience in waiting for the new sony APSC agonata so high-end that promises to revolutionize the world of photography ... hopefully good ...). sent on July 07, 2011 |
