![]() | Nikon Z50 Pros: Small and light, but at the same time exceptional quality Cons: for my uses, none. Thinking about it, the cost of the batteries, but it is not really a defect of the machine Opinion: I started with photography a year and a half ago. I started from the D200, then D600 but, taking landscape photos in my travels I needed something light and manageable to tackle trekking and climbs without additional weights. The Z50 was the turning point. With its ridiculously light but extraordinarily qualitative 16-50 I solved my problem. Experts will turn up their noses, but I see a difference between mirrorless and reflex. ML shots are more digital (a misnomer, but maybe we understand each other), and since influencers and travel photographers are getting us used to shooting with this system, I feel more comfortable having results closer to the "style of the moment". being interested in landscape photography I am not interested in eye tracking, high FPS, video or other technologies. I just need to shoot in RAW, I can set aperture, time and ISO. The Z50 fulfills my needs perfectly. Another fear I had was about the EVF; actually the electronic viewfinder is good and didn't make me regret the optical viewfinder. sent on August 25, 2024 |
