![]() | Industar-61 52mm f/2.8 Pros: Sharpness to the corners, chromatic rendering, mechanical construction, blurry. Cons: As with all the goals of that time, in difficulty in the backlight. Opinion: In my opinion, along with Jupiter 37A, the most powerful Soviet lens among those I've tried. Diaphragmed at 5.6 - 8 is crisp and has a beautiful chromatic rendering, very balanced, in my gallery you will find a couple of examples. My version is old, not lanthanum, I've taken it from a long range Fed to give me a friend. sent on August 15, 2017 |
![]() | Konica Hexanon AR 40 mm f/1.8 Pros: Sharpness, contrast, size, design quality, versatile focal length. Cons: Nobody. Opinion: Paid a ridiculous figure (35 euros in a used shop), this lens has quickly become the most popular on my A7R. Diaphragmed to 5.6 produces sharp images, including (rather rare) extreme angles. The color rendition, to my liking, is spectacular, it is advisable to use a hood to protect the front lens, which is very well protected by the threaded edge. Compact size and good mechanical construction, really versatile focal, close to 35 mm. And as such adapts to a bit of everything. Really a must if you have a full frame! sent on July 07, 2017 |
![]() | Tokina RMC 17mm f/3.5 Pros: Versatility, sharpness in the center of the image, contrast (provided in favorable lighting), no excessive distortion (for a focal lens), mechanical construction. Cons: Decay on edges (at least on FF), it suffers the backlight. Opinion: I bought this lens a few weeks ago, for a hundred euros, Vivitar labeled with K. attack. I remember asking for advice on this, on a FB group dedicated to vintage lenses, where they had called it a "bottle bottom" Or little more, fortunately I was not discouraged! I use it with satisfaction on my A7R, always keeping in mind its faults and avoiding risk situations, especially the backlight. It gives the best of the central diaphragms, is well-built and gives the impression of solidity, in short a nice toy to approach very short focuses without spending billions of dollars. sent on June 19, 2017 |
![]() | Pentacon Auto MC 29mm f/2.8 Pros: Great sharpness in the center, very good coating, made of pleasant, warm color, quality construction Cons: FF edges of just (again, just ...) acceptable from 5.6 onwards, otherwise it is a massacre of details Opinion: When I mounted the first time on my A7R I am horrified by the yield on the edge, really scary at the widest apertures, so much so that I decided to sell it immediately. Over time I changed my approach and I must say I'm glad I kept: in the center the yield is really good and, as has already MFvintageMaur wrote, is spectacular in the night. With a bit of cunning, also, you can circumvent the yield in the corners, while I do not pronounce on the blurry quality, appearance -sinceramente- not one of my priorities ... sent on February 07, 2017 |
