![]() | Zeiss Milvus 100mm f/2M Pros: Zeiss quality is difficult to describe fully.Just pick it up and everything comes together automatically.Metallic hood, soft focus ring, super glassI'm a long-time Canon user. I have given up all Canon optics.I was offered a new Canon RF100mm macro to test. During the testing I found no advantage over the Zeiss. Cons: No deficiencies. Many would say no AF. Anyone who misses it can use a mobile phone. Opinion: I have been taking photographs for more than 50 years. I have used many optical instruments. I have been disappointed with Canon macro glasses. It took me a long time to find where the trouble was and when I met a professional jewellery photographer everything fell into place. As a result, I sold off my Canon lenses and bought a Zeiss Milvus. Now, when I talk to colleagues, I only recommend Zeiss because it is a masterpiece. sent on September 26, 2024 |
![]() | Zeiss Milvus 50mm f/2M Pros: Product quality, product specifications, reliability Cons: I found no shortcomings. The only flaw is that we are moving away from reality. We rely on autofocus, on stabilisation, with our hands and our intelligence at the core Opinion: I have sold off all my Canon optics because they do not meet my needs. The price is just marketing. Although I am a Canon dealer I tried Laowa - a disaster, but cheap :) Works flawlessly when the background is black. I apologised and after some experimentation went back to the Zeiss Milvus. Only those who don't use them or have hands that are out of place can say bad things about Zeiss. sent on October 30, 2022 |
