![]() | Ricoh GR III Pros: Image quality, speed, compactness. Cons: Nobody Opinion: Crazy machine! Nothing to say, he accompanies me every day. It seems stupid to talk about Cons in a machine that targets such a narrow niche. You can keep it in your pocket quietly, it has a quality of the lady and, as far as I'm concerned, customized with the snap focus and the photometry weighted on the lights becomes the perfect tool for an ultra discreet street. The battery sucks, it's true, but I've never finished one given the stingy use I do. I see, in fact, this Ricoh GRIII as a tool to be taken around in all those situations where the X-Pro 2 is redundant. Am I going out to dinner? Ricoh. Jazz Festival where a mirrorless can't get in? Ricoh. Evening walk on the road where the Pro 2 is too much. For me this machine responds to the statement "the best camera is the one you have with you" and this work does it divinely. Of course, with a pop-up viewfinder, it would probably become the sublimation of the street, but already so it has no rivals and sometimes it also does well to "satisfy". sent on October 01, 2019 |
![]() | Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 Carbon Pros: Weight, portability, strength and construction. Cons: Slightly open stability Opinion: Tripod bought for the very low weight that makes its dirty work. I use it a lot and never missed a shot on the field. I use it for a Fujifilm X-t2 kit with 18-55, fixed or wide-angle optics Samyang which never goes 1.5 kg. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an excellent construction object, perfect for backpacking and mountain and that does not regret the quality of tripod by 2/3 times its weight. Great Arca Swiss attack. Highly recommended. sent on October 18, 2017 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 R WR Pros: Construction, Weather sealing, AF Cons: Nobody Opinion: Expensive optics that for street and portrait gives great satisfaction. Impeccable construction. Incredible to absurd levels already from f / 2.8. The manual ring has a very interesting mechanical feel. By shooting in the hyperfocal af / 8 from the excellent results but you have to admit that on PRO bodies there is almost no reaction time with the AF so as to render the Manual, Back switch step incredibly simple. Highly recommended in combination with tropicalized bodies such as X-Pro2 and X-T2. sent on October 16, 2017 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-T2 Pros: Operational speed, sensor, high ISO resistance, design, weight and feel, spectacular RAW, JPEG Cons: batteries (but really does not count) Opinion: Fantastic machine, purchased in lieu of a Pana lx-100 with which I made the bones. A revolution. The machine is snug and responsive, with a fantastic image quality. The colors are gorgeous, to those who like the style of the X-TRANS sensor and the files are extremely malleable. Shadows and high lights are almost always recoverable in well-exposed shots and allow very deep machining. At a constructive level, the feeling is very good and you understand immediately that you are dealing with a body capable of supporting massive workloads. I abused on my last trip to Indonesia in any photographic field and I can say that it feels great in any situation even if its discreet nature is the privilege of Street and Reportage. The autofocus is very fast and surprising for its reliability. The batteries are perhaps the only unique one, but with an original and two good Patona you can safely reside a couple of days. Charging in the room from some overheating problem.rnThe shades are really special, both on the incarnationyou're in black and white conversions giving you shots worthy of the best film. rnTake the controls and especially the joystick. The tilting screen is a good surplus and it looks great on the super EVF. With old school checks is not for everyone. sent on October 16, 2017 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix LX100 Pros: quality Leica lens, ISO (for a micro four thirds), extreme portability, 4K video, design, manual setting rings. Cons: If it were tropical conditions would be perfect. Perhaps the 12 mpx that not very well argue the crop (it does, however, extremely light in exchange files with a good value-weight file) Opinion: Purchased in "far" in 2015 when the price has gone down. The quality of the glass Leica has no comparison and also on a compact like this has a very high yield. In the price range in which it is located it is unrivaled and in my opinion surpasses many entry level SLR. E 'was love, the use in any environment with excellent results (also printed). Its better to be in the urban and street contexts but can be adapted to any scenario thanks to the sector autofocus in low light conditions found faultless. Machine fans or second body from pro, never disappoint. From discerning traveler. sent on April 06, 2017 |
