![]() | Canon 1D Mark IV Pros: Colors, AF form, solidity, quality Cons: No! Opinion: I was looking for a second body aps-c to be flanked by an eos-6d for use in the natural and sporting field, when I was presented with the opportunity to buy this eos in excellent condition. Even if it is already ten years old on the rump it is a machine body that still manages to give great satisfaction. In the intentions it was supposed to be the second body and instead became the first :) It has an excellent autofocus module, still in step with the times despite being a 2012 machine body, and used with a Tamron 100-400 forms a formidable pair! sent on June 22, 2020 |
![]() | Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD Pros: Construction, price, AF, sharpness, weight and warranty. Cons: tripod collar not included. Opinion: Having taken it a few days I have not yet been able to test it thoroughly, but already from the first shots it satisfies me with regard to sharpness and autofocus. Purchased for use in conjunction with an Eos-1d mark IV is appreciated for the weight being able to use it quietly freehand, although with a challenging body with the Eos-1. I read that some people complain about the opening at 6.3 but from my point of view it is not a problem. The only flaw in my opinion is the lack of the collar for standard tripod, although it still remains a product with excellent value for money, especially when compared to the 100-400 Canon, compared to which it costs less than half. To finish excellent the 10-year warranty with a small extra expense (5 standard plus 5 others with a small surcharge). sent on June 22, 2020 |
